<<what's the point of worrying about how many shows they might NOT be doing in the future?>>

Trust me--by this time next year, we will have seen countless threads on exactly that subject.

Definitely fingers crossed for Europe next Spring/Summer... Many places missed out this year so hope they can hit a few more cities, i.e.:

Amsterdam
Hamburg
Munich
Milan
Barcelona
Prague
Warsaw
Helsinki
Dublin
London - Hyde Park or new Wembley

But I don't think they'll come to Europe again next year.
Maybe London, England?

Think they will do it not the full year but like in 2013, I could see them doing summer shows in the USA with a finish in London as bv said. And before hitting the North, they will do South America as we already know.

Basically it's now or never. They can't afford four year gaps between tours anymore. For obvious reasons.

Australia, NZ and South America we already know are on.

London next summer is a strong rumour , and the rest of the year is unknown to most of us in Stonesland.

I'm just gonna wait and see. thumbs up

Always thought that the show would continue into next year, even after South America. Maybe a new way of touring - a few major festivals in the US and UK.

Regarding the band's future moves Keef has 10% cred or leverage. Mick has 90%.

Touring in 2015 will happen if Mick can find markets and promoters.

Could potentially tour for all of 2015.

I still can't understand why they have to charge high prices since they have earned enough money over all these big tours. They could give us fans something back with free concerts for example. Especially the people in South America who often have not so much money would deserve it imo.

I think the ticket prices have gone down considerably since the US and UK gigs though. Prices this summer in Stockholm (Sweden) were between $100 and $200. Still high but not as high as the 2012-13 gigs.

No demand in US unless dramatic reduction in prices. They skipped the South last time and only played NE and West Coast, and still hard tough time filling up venues until massive ticket price drops day of shows( at most venues). I bought 8 pit packages at around $1850 each, and found many in the pit got in for dramatically less via upgrades, 85's, or just buying the pit ticket day of show without the early entry which was a real hassle for a supposedly VIP experience.

If the demand isn't there for US, I don't think they will be bothered.

More gigs in Europe will suit them as not too far to travel, and The Stones know that every gig will be a sell out.

A big bonus for the fans in U.K. and Europe. >grinning smiley<

UK will be a tough venue as well as they played a total of 5 times already???

I think he is hinting at the two shows planned for London summer 2015. Just like Mick has been hinting about club shows during tours for ages. We all do know how often and when they do club shows. When I turn 70 I will do lot of hinting about working all year too.

They won't have any trouble selling tickets in the UK, no matter how often they play, IMO.

London is their hometown, so why not a final consert in London for now?
(like in 2007 - 3 O2 arena shows)

The rumor is 8 big shows in the US (stadiums) in May-June, and 2 shows in Wembley in late June.
The South American 15 date tour will be announced late next week.

My wish list for London, next summer, would be Royal Albert Hall, with big screens in Hyde Park, just over the road.

Free show in the park, with proper security levels and organization, and would be a great show.

Couple of Wembley Arena shows, and a gig or two in a much better organized Hyde Park than last time.

Whatever happens, it's gonna be great. thumbs up>grinning smiley<thumbs up
