Yeah Dandelionpowderman, the Roskilde version was smoking

Mid song I was smiling from ear to ear, and feeling and thinking wauv this is a F...... great fantastic version, and right at the same time, Keith, Ronnie, MT, was all lighting up in big smiles, like, hey this is smoking and groovin, that one moment, was a very special moment for me doing the concert, just for a moment it was like I was standing right among them, and we where all feeling and thinking the same thing at exactly the same moment

I know my mind is still flying high and playing tricks on me, but hey let me have the illusion :-)

thumbs up

Listen carefully to this cathedral sound that makes Stockholm rendition so unique (eg 1'55...2'10"...4'20"... 5'30"...6'10"...7'10"... 8'20"... 8'55"... 9'55"... the whole video actually!).

I have goose bumps...

I did 21 Stones shows in my life and the Midnight Rambler of Stockholm was the best version ever! It was incredibly good... I am now watching again and again the video! Thanks for the recorder!

I managed to catch 6 shows: Newark 2, Boston 1 & 2, HyDE Park 1, Macau, and Stockholm the other night. All amazing in their own way - and each MR was incredible, but if I had to choose 1, I might have to go with Stockholm. This sounds silly (and it is) but being down close in the pit there were a couple moments that blew me away that I'll always remember. One was at one point MJ was just wiggling that little ass of his like I've never seen on any man, or woman - LOL. The other was the clapping of the crowd - it sounded like a giant rain storm, or thunDEr. 45,000 people all in sync. I must have had the biggest damn smile on my face.

after leaving Tele2 Arena, we presumed we just saw a MR that
was at least 15min long. the first video on the thread clocked
in at 15:06, but wasn't complete. depends on where you define
if Chuck or Keef actually starts the song. anyways, in the morning
i found MT having a smoke in front of Stockholm Grand Hotel and
asked him nicely to sign my ticket. very humble and approachable
guy btw. speaks with a fantastic London drawl. i didn't want to
talk to him about the songs i'd like to hear him on, because i'm
sure there's a "company line" when it comes to talking to strangers.
so i just said: "it keeps getting longer, doesn't it?" his reply
was "on one night it's longer, then it's shorter, who knows?"
and guess what he did come the next evening...

Brussels Affair can stay in the cabinet this summer.

People talk about the staleness of the setlist, or "degrading" Mick Taylor, etc. I've seen over 50 shows over the years. I'm probably a little jaded. But, that version of Rambler from Stockholm - I hope the Stones have a proper pro-shot version. They should put it on display at the British Museum of Natural History. Something for future generations to study and learn from.

This version was awesome but I had these two middle aged guys sitting one row over me talking about various things like wieners through the whole song which was kind of annoying. Cannot understand why anyone would pay 150 euros only to sit and talk through a whole concert with the best band in the world thumbs down

Damn - Roskilde clocks in at over 16 minutes, and it's great, very different from Stockholme. At the rate they're going, by the time they get to New Zealand, maybe they'll just get on stage and play 2 hours of Rambler.

Let us not forget that the NWO has changed the audience from a rock and roll fan like me since 1964 into a global phenomena. I was 13 when the Stones came into my life prior to internet. MR has been controversial since Brian Jones karma was still thick in the air at recording. Yes I think MJ does not want to admit that he has become somewhat of the person that he despised in his early years
