Yes, I was wondering if it was the same "Patrick" (Patrick Woodroff certainly [patrickwoodroffe.com]) presumably he was on hand at Glasto ;-) In Paris Mick asked for more lighting on the crowd too but it wasn't Patrick so he was probably already working on the Python's show at the O2 ;-)

I've got a couple of shows (can't remember which ones) where Mick is yelling at Patrick...."PAT-RICK.....lights on! or lights off!......

Matt Clifford's pulls a few good faces in this too and Mick trying not to laugh after saying "yeah, dead parrot sketch".....

Clever, Mick voicing the various criticisms about themselves, even down to "the best one died years ago".
I've heard that one about Brian Jones era a few times too......

Great clip! Charlie is like Teller to Mick's Penn Jillette.
This .gif should come in handy on a few threads as well!

John Cleese in today's WALL STREET JOURNAL:

"The Monty Python audience, he says proudly, is particularly intelligent. 'They're very smart fans. If we had a fan competition up against the Rolling Stones or the 49ers, I think our fans would win,' he adds with a chuckle"

Hate to say it but overall I think he's probably right. John Cleese, he's the man!

I guess John Cleese hasn't taken the fact that "we" got Doxa, Gazza and Rockman on our side into consideration...

Funnily enough, John Cleese was at his book signing yesterday evening in Vancouver.

I was downtown, but was 3 hours early, so I bailed...I'm sure I will regret that!
