There will be a late show start tonight. The ticket says Rolling Stones show start 21:30, they might be on stage around 10pm, with a show that is finished around midnight. Spain is on Central European Time.

Due to strike my flight is canceled.
Sad sad sad I will not be in Madrid tonight, enjoy the show those who will be there.

That is such a shame that some fans just can't get to Madrid.

I'm so sorry for those who are having flights cancelled.

Lenurb - are you in France? I don't know much about journey times but is there any way possible you could get a train (and arrive in time)?

it just can't be that due to cancelled flights some of you miss the show. won't get in my head. try a long distance coach bus, try anything. i hitchhiked for 6hours to waldbühne berlin by the skin of my teeth! it's 15:45 you can do it!

Indeed, it's sad to hear this, especially when we have a lot of IORRians going to this concert. Anyway, for those who's going to Madrid, have a great concert!

Is it air-traffic controller strike in France?

I am sad to hear that fans can't make it to Madrid tonight from abroad. I stayed one day exttra in Rome. Flying out of Rome at 5pm yesterday afternoon, with Vueling via Barcelona, we were stuck inside the plane for 3,5 hours before take-off. Then luckily most flights in and out of Barcelona was 3-4 hours late, so I was at my hotel by 1am this morning. I might just as well still have been in Rome, but the pilot finally got a slot last night, may be via Almeria airspace...

It is a great mood around the stadium here in Madrid. And such a BIG stadium, looks like it is two times bigger than any other stadium the Stones have even played. The sun is shining, it is not as hot as in Rome. Fans are coming in from all over Spain with T-shirts from the past decades. Going for a stadium walk now...

Very sad for you lenurb, and other fans stuck in the same situation. I know I'd be kicking a few cans right now if it were me.

Hopefully you'll get another chance to see them in the coming year.

Dittos on EJM's post. I just posted similar thoughts on the Rome show thread. Now all of us "comuter followers" just have to use our powers of positive thinking to ge zgubi into the stadium and the posters who have been effected by the air strike to Madrid in time for the show. Where there's a will there's a way... I'm focusing my positive thoughts anyway!

Sorry to hear some fans won't make it there. I love the second poster, very creative. Wish there one that great for the 5 shows I attended. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys the concert tonight and that they play something special. Also I feel the need to say Madrid is my favorite city in the world. Hope you guys will enjoy your time there.

Many Argentina shirts in the streets. Direct flights from BA to Madrid helps a lot. Today it is time for my 06 BA shirt I think.

Everybody have a great show tonight and what a shame (not the song) to miss it due to a strike. Bad Faith indeed. Terrible.
