The 1999 "BTB"-tour was just an extra because of the tax-thing. It would have been weirder had they gone back to the 97 setlist?
in his library, broke ribs so they had to reschedule
some gigs? on the bootleg i posted above, Keef says
before YGTS: "i get to sit down!" and someone in the
audience replies: "du bist auch von der leiter gefallen!"
(you fell from your ladder)

Keith's rib injury pushed the Euro tour back. The tax thing, I think Mick said for some reason they would have wound up spending too many days in Europe and would've lost a ton of money so they cancelled and had to wait X amount of days to go back, hence the BTB tour having the NS setlist (sort of).

That was an interesting time for The Rolling Stones. The US 1999 tour got a huge write up in USA Today. I think they did 5 days in a row about it, their past, etc. I never could understand that. The tour was sold out yet they still went overboard on the hype.
it was the last tour again. if not the last tour ever, still the last tour of the millenniumQuote

you might notice, there's the Daimler Stadium nearby,
but they chose to play in the dusty desert of Stuttgart.
usually it's a Fair Ground

There's a Sister Morphine bootleg called Casino Boogie - Las Vegas '99. That's a great one. I don't know much about the NS Tour otherwise. I wish we had a full blown DVD release.
