I have to admit it. I saw "Gone With The Wind" at the cinemas once. With my wife And we are still married by the way. The movie lasted for hours and it was very romantic. They say. I even own original copies of "Sound Of Music" and "Edelweis". Beat that.

OK, here goes. I was forced to wear lederhosen when I was 5 years old.

Well, they're kind of sexy if you wear them as an adult...in a homoerotic kind of way.

Johnny Hallyday is a great rock'n'roll artist. His life is great, his rock'n'roll life is unique. Jagger do like him and Don Was produces his new album. He can sing in front of so much sold out Stade de France, you couldn't understand. If you don't understand, and if you despise Hallyday, it might be better to keep your mouth shut.

Over the past few decades, when they do their blues thing, it's rarely original. For example, Cook Cook Blues is just one of dozens, maybe hundreds of too similar sounding songs. The same case could be made of the Stones' Chuck Berry riff knock-offs.
just like any popular music, the blues has been always highly derivative.

You're responding to someone who said he likes him. So do I!

I like the Monkees' music, too, and proud of it!

I think I would too...not because I like any of the songs, because I don't, but I'd love the discussion that would erupt here if that ever happened.

I like this thread!

I prefer Streets of Love to Beast of Burden or Angie.

I also own the soundtrack for Sound of Music (bought for me by my parents when I was about 8 or 9 but I've kept it), and like several Cliff Richards songs!

i usually defend mick but i have to draw the line somewhere-

even if you like it dont tell anyone,if by some chance mick ever saw this he may be encouraged to go insane again,

"see i was right, someone likes it,its aged well and i was ahead of my time" -

the next thing you know he's putting out a new record that makes superheavy sound like exile.

I was at a large wedding a week ago in the States. An over the top affair with horses, carriages, fireworks, a tented ballroom in the middle of a horse farm that looked like a ballroom from Versailles that held 600 guests with a dance floor.

There was some music from a trio of violins, the bride and groom came in for the reception, the violins left the floor, and then I noticed there were vocal monitors along the edge of the stage. A curtain rolled up and there stood Frankie Valli backed by the four guys from Jersey Boys and a fantastic band.

He gave a private one hour show that was amazing.

I've seen the Stones, Bowie, Clapton, etc. All the Greats.

Frankie Valli was awesome and at nearly 80 showed everyone how a pro does a show.

I always liked some of his songs but now I'm a real fan.

I'm trying to think how I can respond to this video and these comments without getting banned by BV.... lolllll...... ummmmm.... I always thought the Morris Dancing tradition in England was well suspect and this is the Germanic equivalent.

Thank God for Rock n Roll.

Cheers,
