After looking at my Voodoo Lounge U.S. tour poster and reading the Suggestions for a Stones-Themed Room thread, I got to thinking-what are some of your favorite Stones posters? I personally like the VLTour poster (it's below), but also am fond of the 1976 tour poster. Just seems unique.

a relatively fresh one which i meddled on with the intention
of personal use. in my opinion it reflects the term "waldbühne" better,
which means "forest stage" in english. just like the tongue on the Hydepark-DVDs.
heck i'm probably just too cheap to afford the actual litho.

Better than the original Nikkei!!! You were at Waldbuhne 1965 and it comes off in your personal alteration of the 2014 poster. Great!

uh i didn't mean to say i was there. in the other thread i just wanted to say that waldbühne'65 was a more "interesting" venue (afterwards that is) than waldbühne'14. i'm just as out of time as you, i'm afraid. actually i'm just 25years old =)

The northern lights (Oslo?) was great!

The one from Europe '70 is pretty classy:



And I love USA '78:

yeah, bring on the Royal Dragon! i need that in High-Res, then i just go ahead
and print it myself. everybody seems to do that when it comes to the dragon

that thread in stunning resolution. does somebody know where i
could get a version of the Berlin one that's similar in size?
as i said, i want to print my own version, but i wanna get close
to it without seeing pixels.

Wow thank you Nikkei for that quality picture of Dusseldorf. You wouldn't have Berlin in the same quality? Would love to have it since it seems I won't be able to get the real one, though I'll continue trying on RS.Com like many others here.

well, that's exactly what i was asking =)
the big Ddorf one just turned up in the
livecomments thread. the URL of it leads
directly to RS.com, but when i changed
Ddorf for Berlin in the URL, i got 404.
so i have no idea. maybe Rockman is so
nice to scan the litho for us? his scanner
seems a magical artifact^^
