Why?

Of all the songs they could play why add that stinking turd to the setlist ?

And to add insult to injury make Taylor play on it

Thank you - I laughed out loud at your thread title.

I am dead sure that not a single person of those thousands and thousands who actually attended the show would not feel the slightest need to write bull...t like this. Analysing the internet setlists, that is what I call the meaning of life.

Re: Streets Of Shit

Did you watch the video of it? From what I can see 71.000 people sang their lungs out, and Taylor added some beautiful stuff to the song.

For all the people who haven't seen SOL in concert, it's an entirely different experience than the turkey we know from ABB smiling smiley

I doubt that VERY much. I bet there wasn't 7000 that even knew what it was nevermind ten times as many singing the shite

It was a hit single in Italy, which is presumably why they played it.

I don't understand where you're channelling your anger from. Were you there, were you disappointed that you paid to get that song?

Relax man.

I suggest we all wait till the next ACDC album is released. Then we'll be able to count the amount of turds on it... confused smiley

Yeah SOL is a ballad. Yeah it's popular in Italy, so what?

As with any post '83 AC/DC album there will be plenty to pick from. But still not as bad as SOL of course

I find it sad that people feel compelled to post stuff like this - in fact I find it awful sad.

Really? I could care less myself. It's his opinion and he's entitled to it. Are we to discuss only happy things that everyone can agree? Perhaps in the guidelines for the board we need a list of approved topics. Just saying...

If any saw Mick belt out SOL in Atlantic City a few years ago they would have new respect for this song.

Thank you, it is of course MY opinion and not one that HAS to be shared by everyone else

But i still can't understand why they'd play it

To me it'd be like AC/DC suddenly adding say 'Money Talks' or some other awful shite to their next setlist for no apparent reason

I was there. Great show overall. The only other time I heard it was Giants Stadium and it won me over.

Now that's interesting. Money Talks got played live, I believe, for only one tour, but yet it's the highest charting single AC/DC ever had in the United States. (I know...true AC/DC fans wouldn't be buying singles...)

Was thrilled myself to see that they played it. Pretty good song by my accounts and looks like the audience felt the same.

And yes....starving children make me sad also.....not the stones set lists.

Glad they are rockin' it out and throwing us a few gems like this.

Great song, especially live. Atlantic City was stunning

Seems like a waste of space in such a limited setist.

Definitely was the lowpoint during the ABB tour sounding like a Bon Jovi power ballad imo.

Certain fans demand different songs be added to the set list, then complain saying, 'No, not that one!' when it's a 'dud' on the album. (I happen to find it okay on the album, never seen it live, though.)
