Very interesting venue. Are there seats on the side, or is it just grass? Was the whole place GA except for the Golden Circle?

This is a personal thing but I.do not Streets of love much. Respectable is a very good song played live, but no.match for Sweet Virginia or Loving Cup. Whatever.the set list the boys look likhot smileye they are having.a blast

Streets of Love worked well live on the ABB Tour - much better than the studio version.

Nothing that special with tonights set

Really?

Streets of Love, while different, is not special. It's a terrible album track that is much better on stage but nothing to get all excited about.

So even when they do these so-called deep cuts, they've got to be the RIGHT deep cuts. Got it. winking smiley

Would have loved to see the band in this venue--was a very tough choice between Rome and Berlin . . .

Ha love that last pic of Keith...put a bubble to it..."Hey man, who left the barn door open." On a more sensible note, sounds like another great show on the tour. Now if I could make it to Stockholm?

Exactly!!! Seriously though, I just went through the bootleg archive because I remember there being a version from A Bigger Bang Tour that I really liked -- Hannover, Germany.

Do we know what song that was on ?

As for SOL, nice surprise, the Rubicon reference probably helped dust if off indeed. As for Taylor playing on it, it's likely because they first rehearsed it in Paris on the Friday when Keith had left for London to be his daughter who had just given birth.

I'm generally not a whiner about the setlists but I sure would rather hear Loving Cup than Streets of Love.

SOL is in the ballad slot. LC is not a ballad, but I sure would like to hear it live.

I'd settle for something he actually played on -maybe even stretch that to songs they played live with him in the past. Isn't that the point?

The logic behind this particular choice is vacant.

And, frankly, the whole use of Taylor on such minimal options has been a let down.
These people have been playing live music for DECADES. Rehearsing a larger group of songs to display him on - which they could easily change every night to make every show a special occasion - is no hard task (remember: three days between each gig!). Seriously, all Taylor has to do is noodle over the tune in the right key (sometimes a challenge apparently) and people would be passing out with pleasure.

Keep the staples like Rambler and Satisfaction, but they should be changing this up much more frequently than they have been.

It's kind of ludicrous to have had Bruce Springsteen guest on Tumbling Dice more often than Mick Taylor on this world tour.
