Back home.
Few observations.
Hard to find the FOS 1 area.
Packed FOS 1, atmosphere was not that 'crazy' but good.
Lots of smiles between the band except Mick J. I compare this to Pinkpop when he was really in a good mood.
Between Mick en Keith less interaction, except WAY and end of SFM.
WAY,SFM, OOC, LSTNT, GS and Satisfaction: great!! I specially liked the end of SFM when Keith was really into it and Mick face expression was very funny.
Keith was like Mick, never stood a moment still, running like mad from left to right and uses the ramp a lot.Smiled almost maniacally through the whole show. Unbelievable energy!
The second verse of CBS:Keith looked a moment so blank as if he had a blackout.Scaring. And he started it so well, so aggressive.
Nice backing vocals from Keith at LSTNT.
So nice to see Bernard Fowler sings the whole part of Lisa at GS in the same rhythm as she does and with big proud smile on his face.
The sound was bad, lots of echo and the mix sound was bad with loud guitars or piano but you could sometimes hardly hear Mick. That was the same at Pinkpop but now even worse.

As being in 1. FOS left, I had a tremedeous Club like concert experience. The Stones being sooo close.

In between the songs, there was mostly a 5 sec silence period, which I used to ask Mr Jagger: "How is England playing ?" ( me having a natural fairly loud voice) . Mr Jagger noticed this, but as diplomatic as he is, being in the cave of the England- penalty-beater lions, he commented at the performance of the DFB Team so far and mentioned: "Deutschland wird Weltmeister" which gave our great BILD Zeitung their todays headline for the concert.

Stones in DUS

The concert was fresh, loud, guitars very clear.

This was to accomodate all the Keith doubters, being worried about his artritis, or what ever all online medics in this forum think, his flaws may be.
What is the meaning of Keith looking raunchy ? Isnt that the way we like him to be ? Every beholder has a different eye of the illusion he is producing to us.

Mrs Fisher, being twice as good as 2007, showing the audience in DUS where the frog is wearing the curls. At Gimmie Shelter, suddenly the stadium was full with her only.
Great performance.
Furthermore, she and B. Fowler were coaching and motivating the Kids of the chior very well while performing YCAGWYW.

I had not the impression of any irritated security personell. Everybody knew their job. 2007 was much more stressy with these guys being on this chaotic seating floor in FRA.
We are all far over our 30s now and come with our kids. All was cool, calm and collected.
And please, be aware, a Rolling Stones Concert is not the Wagner Festspiele.

I am heading now to our precious neighbors in Belgium Werchter, seeing the simple minds and the Stones, while having frittjes and Stella Artrois

Thanks for sharing! I've only watched SFM due to all of the talk of the ending but LOVED that you focused so much time on RW/KR as they led each other through the song. Great to see the action/reaction/iteraction on something that clearly is not just going through the motions for them. As a musician myself, I love it when I'm in those situations and I can only imagine what was going through RW/KR at that point. Great stuff! Thanks again for the videos!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Worried About You Düsseldorf

Mick's falsetto still works pretty well on ER, but on the WAY versions it's kind of freaky. Pace seems a little off, which gives a shrillness to me, anyway. He should just do the whole thing conventionally, that part is still on-mark.

Ok, I'm back from the show - wheewww, that was a blast!

I had FOS 1 right - which used to be the 'Keith' side. However, he mostly stood in the middle of the stage, so next time, I'll take FOS left! ;-)

Great show, even louder than Berlin!

Now MR is loading up to YT, I'll sent the link.

After seperating the good from the bad or so-so pictures, I come up with 51 which are quite ok.

I really would like to share them here, but isn't 50 pictures too much?
Is there a linit or something?
Anybody can tell?

Great show. Great set list. Great sound with LOUD guitars (at least in section 137).
It was a blast from start to finish.
Keith plays a million times better than he did on the last European tour in 2007.
The band is on fire and they seem to get better and better.

Great, great concert! Of the 7 shows I saw since 2012, this one is easily number 2 (after London, o2 #2). I must say that I am quite surprised by the less than enthusiastic reactions of some, but I think this concert was much better than Berlin! I really enjoyed the setlist changes, "Let's spend the night together", "Worried About You" and "Streetfighting Man" among the first seven songs, who can ask for more? Simply fantastic Versions as well! The mood on stage was excellent, everyone involved (Mick T., too!)Speaking of: another outsatnding "Midnight Rambler", which currently clocks in about 13-14 minutes. Even though the place was packed, the mood in FOS 1. left was relaxed and nobody seemed to mind me taking some pictures...

What a fantastic night...

Edit: I would have prefered to include all pictures in one post, but that didn't work, somehow. I hope you don't mind!

Lox, these pictures are superb...(and I am a photography buff/expert). great job!

Nope. I disagree. I really like it this way.
And I loved Ronnies solo last night. Sounded like it was taken from the mid 1970ies.
