Is it impossible to scale down some of those photos? Smaller size photos are usually more reviewable than larger ones.

I thought anyone could buys those meaning they are not exclusive to Keith. Makes me wonder if the Piere and the great guys on the back line set up MT with some backup rigs after the busted string fiasco a few shows ago. Anyway, thanks for the pics everyone.

My position and camera were both inferior so no wonder to spam the thread with low quality actual clips from the show, but now the thread had slowed down I can post some random photos I took in the SDF and a few from earlier in the day...

While waiting for a long time at the merch stand I noticed that French police were really not tolerant towards people who seemed to be scalpers/selling tickets for high prices:

In SDF - "Pelouse" area, which might translate into English as "poor lousy"...eye rolling smiley

This guy was a fan, but for some time played some Yo-yo...

Saw this in Berlin actually the day before...

Well... EVERYBODY around me did "selfi" pictures with the RS... I said "hell - I can hardly see them anyway, so I'll join this weird fashion and do one too..."

Got tons of photos from a great night.
First time use of a new camera, satisfied!
BV got a few on the report page.

Will probably post some more when I have time for resize/crop etc.
I just love these two shots. Wish I could read the brains.

"So, you do it like that?"

Well, I prefer it like this!

I do think that stage is to small for big stadiums.

I agree. After all of the complaints about the stage being too high in Tokyo, the stage was quite low in Paris. As a consequence, it was hard to see from many positions on the field. It's a tough call.

What kind of 'back up rigs' do you mean ?
Taylor has been using that strap on the Asian tourdates. But also at the O2 Arena on 25 November 2012 (the video is widely available).

If the word 'fiasco' applies at all, then please use it to lament the fact that there was apparently no spare guitar set up for Taylor in Zürich.
It's the job of the guitartechs to make sure a broken string causes hardly any disruption. I'm sure they're well aware that a string can break at any moment.

A guitarist who's playing with the Stones should not really have to wait for over one minute for a fixed string or a new guitar.

Couldn't agree more, one of the best Stones shows I've seen since the Licks tour , sound was almost perfect, the view was perfect and Keith was brilliant !

Some short films from the pre show (outside and inside the SDF) + the Into and JJF, Doom and Gloom, Miss You and some French girls who could have hardly see the screens, but were happy anyway... + the last minute after the bows and the rush outside...

Pelouse Or was not too bad but, in my view, it was larger than in Hyde Park. As the front was too crowded for my 13 year old son (btw have you ever noticed that the sound just 10-20 cm below the audience surface is terrible?), I spent the whole show at the back of the section, just next to the soundboard. The sound was very good. As good as in golden circle in Zurich or Berlin.

I enjoyed the Paris show, no complaints about the band, sound or setlist but, as somebody commented earlier, being close to the stage really makes a huge difference. I admit that I enjoyed Berlin more, possibly because i was much closer. Fortunately I have FOS for Dusseldorf!

Some infamous faces I've seen during the pre-show

For the non french members of this board, the guy just above is a well known french singer, Pascal Obispo, who was there to took pictures in front of the catwalk at the very beginning of the show.

One of the best stadium shows I have seen from them!
The guitar sound was very good. Ronnie was way up loud
playing great and loud rhythm licks in the second half.

Don´t know if it was mentioned:

1. They pulled the plug during the last Struts song. Suddenly
only the the stage amps were audible. I think the young guys
forgot the timeframe. The roadies started moving the amps etc.
while the band was still playing. Never seen such thing before..har...har

2. With the beginning of OOC they let dozens of people (including us)
inside the front pit to fill it up.

So if you are 2nd pit (left or right exit) and the front pit is not crowded, make sure to
get eye conatct with the security guys who run around after an hour.
Maybe they pick you and guide you through.
