Looks like you missed the smiley ?
Anyway can you clarify the confusion on the BS intro that you said Keith messed up and that "z" was fine?

The whole "best ever" thing...if anything it's because people had a great time at the show, can't be a bad thing surely ? ;-)
Didn't see any "best ever" comment for the last 4 gig's - have I missed something?
Latvianinexile said yesterday was the best of of 3 he attended last week. Not more.
Yesterday's gig was certainly ONE OF THE BEST OUTDOOR GIG'S OF THE GREATEST HITS ERA (2013-2014). Not more.
How can one summarize 4 Stones gigs wihtout being there?
Wroclaw - come to the gigs!
We can´t wait to have you in our middle. Come to Berlin!

2) The setlist is filled with "warhorses" I prefer to call them some of the best songs in rock history and for most of us the songs that got us all interested in the Stones. The Stones have never played in Israel do expect them to go out and play Stoned or Gomper? No.

Latvian was at 3/4 shows... I was at one...
And you will get me in Berlin - but now for the show sadly... Only as a Stonesfree tour day on the way to Paris. I'll get to spent in Berlin whole 20 hours (next Thursday) for the first time since 1987... some told me it changed a bit

The sound is very good! Thanks for sharing.
Indeed, great sound, was that recorded with a Panasonic TZ-7 possibly?

Actually is not a big surprise since Keith has said in an interview to an Israeli media that they will play it in Tel Aviv since it's a kind of their version of "Hava Nagila"

You will love it.
But: You arrive two days after Mick, Keith & Co rocked this thrilling town?
Why not comming on the 10th, shooting a ticket in front of the venue at one of the private sellers who have to get rid of their ticket because of changing plans etc.
(they are always there) and then seeing your band here :-)))):

Great review Paul...Thank you. The JJF was indeed strange... this song is usually their safest place.
Coming home I felt like a baked potato - hot on the surface, boiling on the inside. I though I might go to some pub on the beach and see if any RS fan's are there, but... had to escort my kids to near the Ramat Gan stadium where my brother parked. The pedestrian bridges (over the river) were a bottle neck and a nightmare. Anyone knowing the specific history of that bridge was surely terrified being stuck on it for long minutes. Walked back to the park (this time found a short cut behind that water park) to pick up the Mrs. who was a zombie by then. Sat with tons of other exhausted people near a gas station there and ate all the junk they sell, but after that knew that I have tested my good health and shape for too much. We stood on the fence of the GA, facing the backs of the Golden Ring where the heat effect was maximum. Sadly... the post gig gathering (in places such as Mikes Place) was not possible. Do not know if there was any as everybody looked as if they would appreciate a good night sleep. Hate the heat.

What is with all of the whining on this board. Here is what we get lately:
1) Keith is somehow a liability to the Rolling Stones. Hello Keith is the spirit and soul of the Rolling Stones we have people suggesting that he should take a limited roll. Well folks if he did that it would no longer be the Rolling Stones. The photo of the Stones getting off the plane in Tel Aviv someone stated Keith looks old and lost. Please he looked fine in the other photos snapped moments before or after.
2) The setlist is filled with "warhorses" I prefer to call them some of the best songs in rock history and for most of us the songs that got us all interested in the Stones. The Stones have never played in Israel do expect them to go out and play Stoned or Gomper? No. They are going to play the hits. One day in the near future we will only hear cover band trying to do these songs justice and will wish that the Stones could play them,
3) They don't sound like they did in 1973. Of course they don't its 2014 and most of these guys are over 70 and they still put on one of the best rock shows out there!
4) Lisa is a cow and can't sing anymore. I wonder what that poster looks like.
Lisa can still sing and no she is not the sex pot she once was but I give the Stones credit for keeping her around.
We should all be thankful that these guys are out there playing and should not take it for granted.
I can not take all of the negative crap that everyone seems to write.

Sounds like it was a great show! How wonderful for the people in Tel Aciv to see the Stones for the first time in their country and hear all the big hits being played. And too bad for the fans who go from city to city that there were so many big hits, you should know by now, right?

Hye not bad for a show that supposedly had a dark cloud over it ("bad" sales, Isreali people not caring for the band)

Here's a story I have to share with everybody.
As my cousins and I were entering the site, we got held up in a short line of people that were waiting to go through security, because some guy was getting turned inside out and was being asked lots of questions, and the line wasn't moving. We simply moved to another line and 5 minutes later we were in.
About an hour later we were talking to some people sat on the grass next to us and who had also been caught up in that particular roadblock, and they explained to us what security had found on the guy. They'd found a bloody hand grenade.
It turned out the guy had nicked it from his army base, and effectively removed the explosives part of it, but thought it would be a nice thing to let off at the end of the show just to "localise" the pyrotechnics in his part of the GA area !! A homemade incendiary device, just to add to the festivities !!
Jesus Christ, only in Israel !! Take a camera - OK. Take water - OK. Take your sandwiches - OK. But in Tel-Aviv - take your hand grenade as well !!
It takes all sorts, I'm only glad the bastard (and his celebratory homemade incendiary device) didn't make it in and wasn't hanging out in our vicinity.
FFS !!
