I like it partly and the idea. But think it would have been cooler with not just one tongue and lips placed in the middle but with many additional tiny ones on the thin brown borders within or instead of these regular rings of the pattern. In a way you only recognize them as tongues and lips, when you take a close look. This way it would look more like not just a carpet someone applied the logo to but something more interesting and complete.

But funny thing: The same motif was used for the cover of the hardback German edition of Gore Vidal's "Kalki". Mick owned/owns the film rights to that book and Hal Ashby was meant to be the director!
Does anyone know what happenend to that project?
(Ashby finally made the Rocks Off a.k.a. Let's Spend The Night Together 1981 concert film.)

a very good snatch man. a friend of mine got one from the place where they handed out the lucky dips before. he had to struggle with some aggressive ebayers though. also great shirt!

Could be my second favourite.
Both my posters are ' pending ' awaiting stock from the suppliers. Considering i ordered them the 3rd of june it is a funny way of running a buisness.

I like it, whether it's official or not.
This one is not official. It was a design submitted by Diogo Sampaio but not produced. He's the artist who did the Lisbon Tram poster. He has posted several of his rejected designs, including his Tel Aviv, on his FB page. Perhaps if you contacted him directly you could work something out to acquire a higher res version. Someone described this design as looking like upchucked pizza on an Oriental rug but I really like it - it's quite cool & exotic. It would look even better with a larger tongue in the center, imho.

Definitely a great idea to have the litho merchandise. Still waiting for mine to arrive. Pre ordered when I got back from Berlin. Not too sure about the Madrid one.
