the live stream in this thread is FAKE. Completely and totally fake. Unless someone is going handheld with an iOS/Android phone/app or camera (I do this for a living and it is possible), this is just not legit.

According to timetable, xutos and pontapes starts at 20:30.
So I think it is going on as scheduled.

The stream is really looking great. In full 1080p, seamless, smooth etc... I really hope the Stones allow their set to be broadcasted! On Twitter @rollingstones is tweeting @rockinrio etc... I am guessing that we'll be able to watch and listen to the entire concert in perfect sound tonight! JUST MY GUESS.

BTW, I have a theory guys on the multiple accounts thing. Small story...

One of our clients wanted to do a live event broadcast on Youtube. Youtube allows streaming for events/partners which we are. So I set it all up and made one goof... When testing the feed I had Live In Texas rolling through my switcher. Love the sound, action packed, it really tests your skill in optimizing bandwidth etc to be able to broadcast sports or action at a solid frame rate in full 1080p. Had it going great, then suddenly... BOOM. SHUTDOWN BY GOOGLE.

I look in the video management section and the stream was identified as having infringing content. I had to appeal it and get our rights restored for the client, but in the meantime we had to setup a secondary account (our business account) and stream through there for the event. Thankfully no copyrighted material during the event, but it certainly happened.

This might have happened for the Rio folks!!

This brings me to a funny point... I did a video for an AC/DC cover band a while back. They played so well that Youtube flagged their videos as copyright infringement on the studio tracks. The videos were taken down and I had to appeal it....

What happens if the Stones play so close to the album that Youtube kills the stream!! HA! I doubt it will happen, but if it happened to bands covering tracks live, then it is possible to happen mid-event!

Can someone help with a proxy server or something? I live in Germany and can't watch it...
