Argentina will beat Germany 12-0 in the final

Sorry Nate, but you just forget 1 simple thing ....... Argentina will not reach the final smiling smiley

How do you work that one out when they will have put 27 goals past the Dutch keeper?
I can't see Holland scoring 28 or more times against Argentina

The Belgians were as good as the Argentinas.
Only that lucky goal in beginning of the match.
Argentine didn't want to play a normal match becouse they only want to take time and defensive play.
Not seen a great Argentina, even Messi??? Was he on the field?
tioms, from Belgium,

What game were you watching man?

Argentina were not brilliant but they were much better than Belgium and they improved from their previous game against Switzerland.
The team that wins a World Cup is one that improves as the tournament goes on and reaches their peak in the final.

Anyone who watches football seriously will know just what Messi is capable of doing to opponents.

Big players turn up in big games.

So two re-runs of previous World Cup Finals coming up. Germany lost to Brazil in 2002 and Holland to Argentina in 1978. Could be a reverse of those results coming???

Zero points for me in the prediction game for the last four matches. Maybe I should start predicting again what I expect, rather than what I wish smiling smiley

I should have played, I've predicted all the games since the knockout started.

OK, final 3 picks.

Germany over Brazil
Argentina over Netherlands

Germany over Argentina

Germany will beat Brazil and Argentina will hammer Holland then Messi will get a quadruple hatrick against Germany in the final.

Argentina to win the final 12-0 smoking smiley

I hope Neymar fully recovers, that's awful but the referee let that game go. General reaction seems to be in spite of Neymar's injury, it was Brazil that played ugly. I think Colombia got ripped off with that very poor refereeing even if you can point to clearly two straight ahead goals by Brazil.

I don't think the fix is in, Germany should win, Netherlands should win. I have cheered on the underdogs most of the Cup.

Costa Rica did great, were brilliant, they only lost the shootout, the game will officially be in the record-books as a draw and full credit to Netherlands, they were the better team for probably 80% of the match but at the end, Costa Rica had some good chances.

I'm sorry Belgium really got plugged up, couldn't put together a finishing attack on goal. France too when they went behind by a goal.

Sure, by another 0-0 match and decision on penalties? Or by a Robben dive?

Let's hope for that then, Gooo. That would be something else than another penalty decider.

One of the pundits noted, you have no real blowouts in these knockout rounds. I don't think there have been any by more than 2 goals.

Belgium? What? This team was supposed to be "grat play" and not even manage to have goal chances seriuosly. Mid- to low class team. Argentina showed the guts needed at this stage: goal, good deensive system and Messi. Belgium? Haha. You guys did a much better job in 1986, and we all know how the tale ends...

Apparently an American journalist named Ann Coulter has published a couple of anti-football columns in a right-wing newspaper.I won't replicate the content of it since it's to idiotic to be taken seriously but I have duly noticed it.
