Today I was inn Oslo. Accidentally ran into Taylor, fischer, fowler and Keys while they probably was getting ready for rehearsal. Took my chance and had a really nice chat with them. Nice people!!! And a huge experience for me...then went to the arena and heard some songs before I had to leave. And today it was really loud and good sound outside.. ER and iorr sounded great. Monday must come soon!!!

Since it has been reported that the doors and windows are open I am curious as to how far away the sound can be heard? Anyone present have an answer to my question?

Poster kinda looks like a Christmas jumper, bit odd for summer confused smiley

It's a pattern from a Lusekofte, a traditional Norwegian sweater dating from the 19th century. One of those things that symbolizes Norway.

Cool, thanks for posting Cristiano.

And again HUGE THANKS to DPM and everyone posting information from the rehearsal site, you allow us to live vicariously throught you, thank you all.smileys with beer

Yes and yes, thanks Cristiano and all!! smileys with beer

This is so weird about the posters, though--they didn't both much with posters at all up till now, certainly not for individual shows, and now we have TWO really cool ones for the same show??

Quite a few more fans today, and a few absent when I arrived like DP and gibsonman who I met last night.

Sound was superb especially at the nearest doors as I got off the bus.
Had walked all round outside of arena and all area's were good.

Mick was last to leave again, quite a while after previous car had left.
Must have been sorting out stuff, ready for Monday.
Window was wound down and smiled and waved to us.

Another nice afternoon /early evening at Telenor Arena. winking smiley

Similar thing happened this evening in town when I met Chuck Leveall and two nice women, one of which I'm sure is his missus.
Such a nice polite and personable guy as well as the two ladies.
Had a little chat walking along, and his missus took a couple of pics of me and
Chuck, and I returned the favour by taking a couple of the three of them with Mrs Chucks ' phone.
Rounded off another really nice day. >grinning smiley<

I wish they would put Street Fighting Man into the set list one of these days.
They seem to rehearse it some but not do it.

Hey, the Stones have their first show in Oslo very soon. Woohoo!!!

Thanks for all the pictures and reports of the rehearsals, and for the
shots of the new posters!! cool smiley

They're rehearsing If You Can't Rock Me? GREAT!
I know they'll probably start with JJF, but it would really be great if they did that 3 song run of SFM, IYCRM and SMU like on the Licks arena shows. They had the audience in the palm of their hand there.

Please DO NOT use this thread for speculations about issues that are private to the band members at this time.

Love it too. Btw is there any place I could get the HBO Crossfire Hurricane poster anywhere? Or how do I get it made as a poster?

Okay, then I will simply make the on topic observation that they seemingly didn't rehearse PIB unless somebody present just didn't report it or nobody heared it. Whatever that means.

Well, they opened at Hyde Park with it last summer. But I hear what you are saying. I wish they would make it a permanent fixture in the setlist like the others.
