Great to see The Seeker in there. I've seen The Who about 30 times and don't recall them ever having played it at any of those shows.

Played at a few shows in 2000. Played regularly in 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Unless they come to Asia, I'll never see them again. I saw every show I could in the 80s and don't regret a single one. I would, though, love to see them one more time.

Abu Dhabi isn't Asia...it is the Middle East. There is South Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. And then of course the South Pacific considered part of Asia.

Then which of the 7 continents does the Middle East belong to? It clearly ins't Europe which only leaves Asia.

You are write, as it is also geographically known as East Asia. So again, you are correct. I, and I suspect StonesAsia, are referring more to greater Asia as opposed to just one country in East Asia.

Its fine if they aren't doing My Generation! I only like it when they do the version with a long jam, or the My Generation Blues.

they should work it into another song then and do a medley

they didn´t die before they got old (at least half of them…)

LLR almost never worked well live - no exclusions this time. One of those songs you always say "want to hear it once" but then the live output is pretty lame. :

I think its good that they aren't doing it. It shows that they don't need to trot out a well worn song and try to recapture past versions. I like the versions they used to do on the 2006-07 tour where they combined it with Cry If You Want (always felt that song was a "grown-up" My Generation). Also it should be pointed out that The Who didn't do My Generation for 23 shows in 1982, and that was supposed to be the 'Farewell Tour"!

They did however do it for the final show of the '82 tour in Toronto, which became the selling point for what was released to the public of this tour--the live simulcast, the cable concert special, and the live album.

on the other hand they seem to regularly do now "listening to you" which is their other "worn out number" and seemed to have been missing from many "reunion" tours.

Ah way to go PTownshend! That version of LLR from the 79 tour is fantastic! And I saw them do LLR at the Pontiac Silverdome in 79 and was a tried and true Who fanatic after that!

So do you have any information on possible Asian dates and venue? ?? ? ? ? Please??????

I think this is a great live version of A Quick One, played last week in Glasgow. I would die to listen to this live:

That is great audio from Glasgow. Love it.

I do hope The Who come over to South America on their World Tour.

Would be great for fans from Brazil to see the band in your home country Cristiano.

Indeed, but I'm considering the possibility to go see them in Holland (tickets on sale tomorrow) and visit some friends there. Maybe in London too, where I do have some friends, too. Let's see what happens. winking smiley
