I got a message last night from Pauline Stroosnijder, that Bill Wyman will give a concert at the Melkweg , Amsterdam on Nov 6.

I dont know about any other European date, but it is certain there is a European Tour.

Well he had a concert scheduled in Paris last December and it got cancelled at short notice, illness, poor sales, guess we'll never know. Apparently he played tonight in a tiny town I'd never heard of, Chaulnes in the North of France...maybe someone will report back.

Great show in Düsseldorf.
Mary Wilson "Supremes" with 6 songs (2 sets a` 3 songs).
Final song with Mary Wilson was a great "Dancing in the street".

** Bill, Mary, Albert Lee and the whole band signed after the show. Very friendly - little talk with everyone. But Bill signed "NO Stones Stuff!

The Paris concert in december 2013 was canceled because of poor sales (a real shame).

I was at the Bill concert last saturday 8th November in Chaulnes (France).

It was really very funny. Chaulnes is a little village of 1200 inhabitants in the @#$%& middle of nowhere (120 km north of Paris).

If this concert took place, it is thanks to a guy named Arnaud (sorry I do not know his family name) who is fan of rock and blues music. I think he lost money on that concert because there were only 300 or 350 people in the audience.

The concert was really great.

Bill is really a nice guy but he made a "strange" mistake when I spoke with him after the show. I was talking about the official release of Hampton on CD / DVD, telling him that he played extremely well at that show and he told me "oh yes Hampton concert in 1989" !!!

I hope he has Mick Taylor guest for him....God knows he'll utilize his immense talents more than the Dopey Stones do!!!!!

Yeah, he has done "Melody" in the past, but recently such Stones-related covers like "Route 66", "Harlem Shuffle", and "I Just Want to Make Love to You".

In Düsseldorf 2012 we got: "Honky Tonk Woman" + "Route 66"

I wouldn't want to see Wyman do Stones tunes though, just like I wouldn't like to see Jagger do Stones stuff solo, or Macca doing Beatles stuff solo.

How cool was that? Brought a smile. Bill, as solo artist, was a one hit wonder. It's more memorable than anything the other Stones did on their own.
