Sloppiest Thunderstruck intro so far? Maybe they should just drop it from the setlist and play something else. Angus is still good on most other songs.

Ouch Angus smoking smiley
If we had to remove from the Stones' setlist all the songs whose intros and solos in particular are a failure, the list would be long.

Strong rumors of new dates in 2026, particularly in South America in spring.

AC/DC in Argentina is like the Stones in Argentina
Everyone who can, buy a plane ticket and come to Buenos Aires. We're going to make history once again...

Two straight summers in the US doing stadiums… a bit delightfully surprised. The demand must be pretty strong.

the schedule for South American is more gaps than a real schedule – I guess they'll add at least six more shows

Indeed, are expected 4 in Brasil, 3 Argentina and 3 for Mexico...

I hope Brian doesn't pass out on stage. Really wish he could still sing at the same level Angus could still play guitar. Its truly just too painful for me to hear, which is sad because AC/DC was always a band I could rely on to sound exactly the same and as good as the last time I saw them.

Angus is in a tough spot: way younger than the rest of the guys, and guys like the Stones and such, still playing great, but clearly doesn't want to tour under his own name. And if he's going out as AC/DC, he probably needs at least ONE other classic member. So we get what we have here, which I'm glad people are enjoying but is just such a far cry from acceptable AC/DC to me. I get why Angus does it but I wish it was different.

I was always curious about this year's tour dates in North America. No New York, Philly, Toronto, etc. Now it kind of makes sense with those dates for next year. Vancouver and Las Vegas for both years. I think Van sold out the quickest, pretty much first day. I'll be getting tickets again for Vancouver. Middle of August, hope the roof is open at BC Place like it was for Stones last year!
Looking at the dates, can still fit 2 more shows in after Vancouver if they wanted to. Also, can add multiple nights in South America.

Vegas had the highest secondary prices from what I remember. I just assumed they would get another show as it's a default desination location. I think the lead time was a lot shorter for this year's tour which is why NY area got passed over for Pittsburgh etc.

Dare we dream of a second BC Place show as one of those shows that could be fitted in!!

On the show I attended, Brian sounded better than I expected him to. It was a different experience hearing the (great) sound mix, compared to YT-videos. He certainly gave all he had. Sometimes his voice just «stopped» mid-note, but he just laughed it off with buckets of charm. Other times he managed to sustain the high notes and sounded fine.

What surprised me most, though, was the decline in Angus's guitar playing. He's still great at times, of course, but there were quite a few times where he wasn't really up to par (Thunderstruck, For Those About To Rock and his 20 minute (!) solo spot, among others).

We got to accept that it's tough for old men to play hard rock. They are still putting on a superb show, even though there are some glitches here and there.

Does Angus have any backup, guitar-wise? I know they have a replacement for Malcolm Young. I was just wondering whether they're role is exactly the same as Malcolm's, or are they supporting Angus with the lead-work a little more? With increasing age, and apparent limitations, perhaps he could do with such support.

Stevie plays Malcolm's parts. He's only two years younger than Angus, though. smiling smiley

I’m probably not even a casual fan and Edinburgh in August was only the third show I caught them live, the first time in 15 years since Osaka 2010. With that in mind, I didn’t feel a sharp decline in their collective performance overall. If Brian or Angus weren’t perfect, I didn’t sense a dent that stuck out in particular. I just enjoyed every minute of it.

Did Angus’ solo spot last for 20 mins? Really, that long? If it was the case in Edinburgh, there was very little dull moment if any and that was fun to watch his every move all over the stage.
The only noticeable difference from the past shows I remember was that he didn’t do a ‘fly in death agony’ action, i.e. lying on the catwalk on his back and thrashing his legs while playing the guitar.

Scotland gave the world AC/DC!

Thanks DP.
It's true that only Ron and Keith's guitar playing doesn't falter.

Just looked at tickets for MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Surprised they only have a small GA pit and the rest of the floor is all reserved seats.
Laat time they played the entire floor was GA.

Also, lots of spaces between dates in North and South America.
No Rio de Janerio annouced yet.
I would suspect them adding more dates to fill in the gaps.

They just did it. 3 concerts in São Paulo and 3 in Buenos Aires.
