"Tonight's AC/DC show at Nissan Stadium has been rescheduled to tomorrow, May 21 due to inclement weather. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. Ticket purchasers will receive an email with more information."

That part of the NE United States has been getting pummeled, as well as some Midwest states.
Good move.
Nashville is in the Southeast, but yes, it was a bit stormy here yesterday. Nothing like what has been happening recently though. Tornado alley shifted from Oklahoma (my birth state and childhood home) to Tennessee over the last 30+ years. The city I live in has been hit with tornadoes seemingly each of the past 5 years.
Very much looking forward to the AC/DC show tonight!

Seems like Angus was good. Not to be the party pooper, but its just really difficult to hear these days. Its a glorified tribute backing band at this point, and Angus is not the problem. He is seemingly always going to be perfect, crushing it, and holding these shows up on his shoulders. But when you take him out, the backing band is whatever (they're certainly not bad and play it well, but its really no different than "The Who" these days, where the singer and guitarist are the only originals, right down to the brother of the guitarist on second guitar) but the main problem is Brian just cannot sing anymore. You can see it below from the same show. I feel bad cause he clearly wants to be there but he's such a far cry from how he used to be, or even when I saw them back 15 years ago. Brian just doesn't have it and if its just Angus, that's MOSTLY AC/DC to me, but its not nearly the "band", especially the classic mostly original one that was intact for 30 years:
.... Its a tricky situation for Angus where he is 100% still touring capable but none of the other original members are. And he doesn't want to go out as Angus Young, he wants to go out as AC/DC. But I do hope those going are enjoying it, for Angus if nothing more. He's really such a marvel in person, similar to Jagger live where I can't believe he can still and always does it.
Excellent observation, especially for the Vegas concert, which I attended. I hope Brian had an "off" night, since I plan to see them again before they depart for Europe. This was my first AC/DC concert. I also thought about the comparison between Mick Jagger and Angus, as both carry their bands at this point. Angus was magnificent. Brian worked hard and had fun, but his vocals were low volume and weak/poor.
I hope Brian performs better in Nashville. In Vegas, it was great to see AC/DC for my first time, but the performance was the AC/DC sound and Angus, not the vocals. At Stones concerts, while Mick is the focus of attention, Keith and Ronnie (and even Chuck, Darryl, Steve, Bernard, and Chanel) attract more attention than anyone in AC/DC other than Angus and Brian. The AC/DC sound/energy is great, but the Stones overall performance is superior. If Brian could perform, as I've seen in older videos, AC/DC would be closer overall to the Stones.

He had great energy. Angus is amazing and the band was excellent. Great to see AC/DC again

I'm very glad you had a nice time. By the videos I'm seeing, Brian (to me) is still sadly croaking out these songs, and not very well, but as I've always said, I hope he's having fun and if you're enjoying it while you're there then that's all that matters. But I have yet to see a video back where Brian sounds anything like the Brian of old. Or even the Brian of 15 years ago.

AC/DC has a fantastic drummer and bass player for the POWER UP tours - and Angus is, as always, in the top of his performance - so yeah, best live band on the planet for 2025. They're casting their own shadow.
Fantastic back catalog, a "new" album and a great band compared to other non-Rudd versions of AC/DC in the past. AC/DC 2025. They are simply undeniably great regardless of 'oh they don't have...' bitching. "Shadow of themselves".
You're obviously confusing AC/DC for The Who. They are now a complete joke.
Linkin Park (how they enter the conversation is a mystery) do not compare, as good as they are/may be (never liked them so I have no opinion).
The Cult have been dynamite for years. Same with the Drive-By Truckers. Pearl Jam, too. All of them have recorded new albums and continue to grow.
Should AC/DC hang it up? Angus thinks otherwise so far but who knows, it really does seem like this round of tours is it and playing that kind of boogie rock'n'roll is very likely a bit more exhausting than, oh, The Rolling Stones.

AC/DC are on a highway to Australia.
The legendary rock band will make a triumphant homecoming in late 2025, multiple sources tell Rolling Stone AU/NZ, for their first stadium tour of these parts in a decade.

I beg to differ after The Cult's show in Oslo tonight. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
Will be seeing AC/DC in August, though.

Maybe so, ending up where it all began.
We'll see, I think Angus still has a lot left in the tank for the band to release a new album anyway.
As for the concerts, I wouldn't know.

It seems unfathomable to me, that an artist or group will tour the globe, yet have not performed in their homeland for so long. Although they left in 1971, the Stones have always included the United Kingdom – England, more specifically – as part of their ‘European tours’

Not in 1998, for tax reasons, if memory serves

Quite right!
Didn't Ronnie say there will be a number of theatre shows, to make up for the rescheduling??
