Yes, there will be twice as many concerts, not forgetting New Zealand.

I'm sure they'll do the 13 or 14 shows like NA and Europe. Question is, will these be the final shows? If they are, would be nice to see Phil and Cliff come out and play a song or two.

Phil in New Zealand would be great, Cliff on the tour too.
But I don't believe in it, not in the band's habit, and it could mean the end of concerts forever, and it's rare for a band of this stature to send out, very symbolically, this kind of message...I hope I'm wrong because I love these two guys, an integral part of the band's legend.

We'll see.

Apparently there is a video that has gone viral that does not sit well for some fans.

Don't forget some people say The Stones should stop too. Personally I say those people are the ones who should stop and find something else to do. I don't need someone to tell me when to start or stop liking someone/something.

I think a lot of the AC/DC of it stems from the fact that it was the Back In Black 5 from 1980-2010 and then it quickly became just 2, occasionally 3 members. Big purge in a short amount of time. The Stones were always 5 until the mid 90s, and then 4 for another 25-30 years. IMO made it much easier to defend "well its still basically the same Stones we've known for awhile" with only one member really lost since 1975 (or 1985 after Stu's death).

Yes, unfortunately, I don't think Angus had much to do with the death of his brother Malcolm and Phil Rudd's bullshit... The important thing is that the band is at its best on stage, still with that fantastic energy.

Angus is magic.

It's no different than chemtrailers/flat earthers only on X saying ABC, the fake fog sickness, chemtrails and radar creating storms... a group of weather manipulation losers on only one social media platform for losers.

Reality functions regardless of those losers on X.

Hey there --

So I'm wondering if there is a site similar to this one, for AC/DC on this tour.

Specifically, I am wondering if there are AC/DC fans who compile the live videos from YouTube, and make full concerts, and share recordings of recent shows, like we do here in the "Hot Stuff" forum. You know how when the Stones are on tour, each show surfaces in different ways (Periscope, Youtube, audio, etc), and everyone shares that info here.

I've been interested in the tour and I've heard some GREAT Youtube videos. I'd like to sort of follow the tour in Europe. There are full length videos for most of the recent USA shows, and I've got decent audio for a few of them.

Is there a site similar to this one, that has a focus on live sharing of concert streams, set lists, videos and recordings, like the "Hot Stuff" forum here? But for current AC/DC?

I know Power Up isn’t very new, but it is still worthy of a spin. Fun summer album. Crank it up and enjoy!

You misunderstand. AC/DC is doing just fine regardless of what some crybabies that have no idea what they're talking about say on TikTok or X.

Its funny that AC/DC aren't all that different from The Who, yet you don't consider that legit.

Nitpicking about original band members wins nothing. No one in AC/DC is some pissed off little boy like Roger is. I never said The Who weren't legit, simply that they've become a joke with their ridiculous decisions about Zak.

Angus dumped Brian Johnson 10 years ago with very little reasoning communicated to the public, and Brian fairly publicly being annoyed about it. Everyone acts like children but I 100% see AC/DC and The Who as the same in terms of a creative/as good as they've ever been entity these days, which is to say they aren't. And that's fine, but just because Angus is out there doesn't mean the "band" is putting on the same quality shows they did up through about 2010. If people enjoy it, that's great, but it feels very distinctly like a lesser product, same as a lot of other legacy rock bands these days. The dam breaks at some point.

We're getting older. I think the trick is to understand how to process the whole thing. Try not to get too cynical and maintain some degree of happiness. None of us can be at the level we once were. Personally I'm going to enjoy the dinosaurs for as long as I can, even if they let me down sometimes. I hope the people that surround me have this same feeling about me.

AC/DC had a contract for the tour. Angus' communication to the public happened when it did. Could he have handled it better? Of course. Cancelling would've ruined everything (some tours can be moved, like the Stones 1998 UK dates to 1999; other things, like U2 at the Sphere, signed way before Larry needed surgery so they got Bram van den Berg to fill in) financially and they would've been broke.

Brian couldn't perform anymore. Decisions are made. They don't always make sense to the public. Roger Daltrey being a stupid whiny bitch is nothing like Brian on the verge of completely losing his hearing.

Listened to it today at your suggestion. Its actually better than I remember so I appreciate you bringing it back to my attention. Its no Back In Black, as almost every album after that has been, but it has some solid moments. It at least sounds like classic AC/DC. Honestly, bravo to Angus (and Brian, who sounds great singing here. Not sure if its studio trickey cause I'd love if he still sounded this good live) for culling a collection of songs that is IMO better than the previous album before Malcolm passed. Tough move to rely on older songs but he did well.

Its too bad they never really had a truly excellent late era album. I feel like The Razor's Edge was the high mark, and that was really just on the strength of Thunderstruck and Money Talks. Every other album had its moments but largely were forgettable. I actually thought Black Ice was their best in awhile, it was just too damn long. But this last one several years ago was better than I probably gave it credit for. Great that it was also basically the "band" too, even though most of them didn't tour it.
