I wonder if Seattle or any other Canadian cities get shows announced. I’d definitely be tempted to have one more night with the band if so…. But how long more can they continue….

Hard to say, but I'd probably assume no? Besides the one time they did that benefit with the Stones in Canada, I don't know AC/DC to ever fire up the whole shebang without it being several shows. So if they were to do Seattle, some Canadian cities, NY/NJ that was passed over this time, it would have to be a whole new leg. I guess it could come after Europe this year, but seems unlikely, and I can't tell if they'd want to attempt any more shows next year. The obvious question with them is whether they announce an end or if the end of a tour happens to be their last show without hoopla.

POWER UP is 5 years old...two songs in the setlist seems appropriate.

No reason to change this set list of crowd-pleasing monster hits.

LONG LIVE AC/DC. Angus is a living legend.

Seems like Angus was good. Not to be the party pooper, but its just really difficult to hear these days. Its a glorified tribute backing band at this point, and Angus is not the problem. He is seemingly always going to be perfect, crushing it, and holding these shows up on his shoulders. But when you take him out, the backing band is whatever (they're certainly not bad and play it well, but its really no different than "The Who" these days, where the singer and guitarist are the only originals, right down to the brother of the guitarist on second guitar) but the main problem is Brian just cannot sing anymore. You can see it below from the same show. I feel bad cause he clearly wants to be there but he's such a far cry from how he used to be, or even when I saw them back 15 years ago. Brian just doesn't have it and if its just Angus, that's MOSTLY AC/DC to me, but its not nearly the "band", especially the classic mostly original one that was intact for 30 years:

So its just hard to see from that perspective. I'm sure its fun, but its similar to when I hear "Queen" is going out on tour. People are basically paying to see Brian May, the way they're basically paying to see Angus here. Its a tricky situation for Angus where he is 100% still touring capable but none of the other original members are. And he doesn't want to go out as Angus Young, he wants to go out as AC/DC. But I do hope those going are enjoying it, for Angus if nothing more. He's really such a marvel in person, similar to Jagger live where I can't believe he can still and always does it.

No one wants to hear their new material. I guess that's probably been the case since 1981, with the exception of the Razor's Edge, and they're closer to the end than the beginning or middle. I think they're making the right call not wasting time on it.

When I saw Metallica on their St Anger tour in 2004, they did two songs from that album - St Anger & Frantic. Nobody complained, heh heh.

Similar thing when I saw the Stones on the Bigger Bang tour in 2007. One song - Rough justice. And there were some dates on that tour (last leg, 2007) when they didn't do a single song from that album.

It was fantastic Paddy, thanks for asking!
BTW, the city specific tour shirts are available to order on their website. Our merch lines were massive too, the Vancouver shirt looks very cool if you still want to buy one.

Rarified air in Ford Field that night. LOUD and ROCKING. Too bad it took a few songs to get the sound mix right being an indoor football stadium that wasn't built for concerts, unfortunately. (Still way better sound than the old Pontiac Silverdome!) I was high up with a wonderful vantage point to watch people going absolutely bonkers for every song. SO MUCH FUN.

The huge stage, that looks very familiar, is basically for Angus and Brian. As it should be. Brian just looks so damn happy and genuinely thrilled to be entertaining the masses again. His energy is infectious and his efforts to sing these iconic songs is truly appreciated. Generations of fans having a blast together. It's what LIVE music is all about.

Angus is a living legend who still plays like he's possessed. Nothing else to say.

As far as online complaints about the lineup of the rest of the band, pay no attention. Stevie has been around long enough and Matt and Chris keep the chug and roll and the groove that we all expect and love. It's not Angus' fault that Malcolm died. Trust me, it's AC/DC.

The bell, the cannons, the elevating circle and the fire. My only complaint(?) is that I prefer inflatable Rosie to digital Rosie. She still gets the job done, though, very reliable that Rosie.

A proper Rock N' Roll band delivering the hits on a Wednesday night. We are all very lucky to be alive right now. My advice to anyone on the fence in 2025...Get a ticket and GO.

Excellent observation, especially for the Vegas concert, which I attended. I hope Brian had an "off" night, since I plan to see them again before they depart for Europe. This was my first AC/DC concert. I also thought about the comparison between Mick Jagger and Angus, as both carry their bands at this point. Angus was magnificent. Brian worked hard and had fun, but his vocals were low volume and weak/poor.

I hope Brian performs better in Nashville. In Vegas, it was great to see AC/DC for my first time, but the performance was the AC/DC sound and Angus, not the vocals. At Stones concerts, while Mick is the focus of attention, Keith and Ronnie (and even Chuck, Darryl, Steve, Bernard, and Chanel) attract more attention than anyone in AC/DC other than Angus and Brian. The AC/DC sound/energy is great, but the Stones overall performance is superior. If Brian could perform, as I've seen in older videos, AC/DC would be closer overall to the Stones.

Angus is phenomenal.
It's true that Brian struggles at times, but he gives his all, and his energy and smile are a joy to behold. Honestly, the band's got a lot of energy.
For the setlist, don't ask AC/DC for originality, they were already a staid bunch back in 1979 !

Can't wait to see the boys in Europe.

I also made the trip to Foxborough—-I don’t know if it was the steady rain and almost 20 mph winds but the whole lot of them were on fire. What else can one say about Angus, he truly is legendary. And while Brian had some fade-outs on a few songs, I was impressed with his voice especially after seeing the comments here. Going to Nashville as well, hoping for as good a show and some better weather.

I thought the whole band sounded tighter on this run than they did in 2015, the Malcom shaped hole wasn’t as noticeable. I’d agree with all you said, we’re lucky they’re still there and given age they sound way better than they might do. It’s also great to see a bunch of young uns at the gig with their parents! I’m glad you had a great time!

Nashville is in the Southeast, but yes, it was a bit stormy here yesterday. Nothing like what has been happening recently though. Tornado alley shifted from Oklahoma (my birth state and childhood home) to Tennessee over the last 30+ years. The city I live in has been hit with tornadoes seemingly each of the past 5 years.

Very much looking forward to the AC/DC show tonight! smoking smiley
