Limited view seats have been released on TM for Vancouver. Still too rich for my blood, though.

I went for it, $87 sounds good to me!!
So long as I can hear the band I don’t care how much I see.

If The Rolling Stones tour in Europe or even NA later this year, the big shows big stadia tours are almost over.
AC/DC will do Europe summer 2025. Will that be it? They're done?
U2 will do whatever in 2026.
The Rolling Stones will...
It's all about to end. No one will get it until 3-8 years go by.

Cheapest seats I saw were 'limited view' in the uppers for $175 cad. $350 for lower 'limited view' seats is outrageous. In 2015 I paid around $100 for front side floor seats the day before the show.

Maybe for rock bands, but Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and probably a few others will still play stadium shows for years, I’d assume.

Great gig tonight, they rolled back time. Sound was excellent where I was, better than 2015.

Of that bunch only Taylor Swift has done stadiums for a tour as far as I know. She could again but it's different for her than the Stones, AC/DC and U2 - her longevity will probably be completely different.
Take the 3 bands - DECADES of existence.
A solo artist... although what the public and fans like is no different, the longevity plays in: the people that went bonkers in 2023-24 for Swift will...?
Not so for the 3.
I'm curious to see what happens. Perhaps there's a crossing of the spectrum in regard to legacy act vs current raging solo artist, and Taylor certainly blew everything beyond... will she have the draw of the 3?
There's no logical way to figure that out in comparison to the 3 - the 3 have a meaning beyond the charts. Taylor may have that by now but will it hang on like the 3 have?
Not disregarding other acts like Metallica, Bruce and so on but the 3 have been a ritual for decades. When the 3 stop, which will probably happen in a short time span when they decide to stop, it will be oddly bizarre. Mostly because they've been around for so long.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. When it comes down to it, we’re really both just guessing. On another note, Beyoncé and Post Malone have both recently played at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

and the likes of Coldplay and Ed Sheeran fill stadiums, too. Oh, an that little Mancunian, Oasis, have sold-out all their 2025 stadium shows.

Where were you sitting? Because the sound was terrible for us. Couldn't hear a word Brian was singing. My brother couldn't even tell what song was being played until it was almost over.

I was in section 403 in the rafters but there was a sound tower pointed directly at me. I got a major surprise when they kicked into If You Want Blood to amazing sound. My ticket was “limited view” and the sound tower blocked the whole centre stage, but for $87 it was perfect, depending where you are in a stadium you can end up watching a gig on the screens anyway and that’s what I did last night. 2015 I did that from the ground floor midway back with a way more expensive ticket and with shittier sound.
This gig was up there with the 2009 BC place show for me, better than 2015 that’s for sure. The whole thing felt tighter last night, there was moments where the groove was back. IF that’s the last time I see them they’ve left me with a really great show. Maybe because my expectations were low going in but they blew me away last night taking age into consideration. There were one or two fluffs, the intro to Thunderstruck was a mess, the “quite” part of the Rosie solo was fluffed, but hey it’s live music, they were killer.
Question though: ACDC merch queues are the longest I’ve seen over the years for any band, why the hell were there so few stands last night? People told me they’d queued for over an hour! I went into the venue at 7:50pm got a Pepsi and was headed to my seat at 8:15pm and the merch queue was still a mile long with the band due onstage at 8:30pm.
A bootleg eBay shirt will do me.

Pink and Robbie Williams are coming to my mind. They're filling stadiums for years. They're filling like 10 German stadiums a year just like the Stones did in their best years.

Yeah…. Says something about someone but I’m not sure it’s says something about the someone it was meant to.
