No, he didn't take his shirt off. And it was quite warm, so he probably doesn't do it any more (thanks God :-) ).

He did take it off at the beginning of the tour...he's still a skinny guy but there's quite a bit of sagging skin now, so keeping the shirt on is probably a good call at 61 years old

Seems like a lot of us here are not really fans of the singer or his reputation, but will give the man his due when he deserves it. I know I had less than zero interest in whats-his-name on his own using the old band name and I was skeptical about him being able to pull off this AC/DC thing, but he seems to be doing it and I am delighted that he seems to have reinvigorated Angus and inspired the band to pull out some good ole songs. COOL!!

At this point I will probably wander out to the stadium on the day of the Slash et. al. show when it comes to town and do the grab a 2buck ticket right before the band goes on. It could be fun.

And I will add, I have no issues with Angus wanting to keep his thing rolling (not that I even pretend to be worthy to judge)... especially if Angus sold his soul for rock and roll so he might as well get all the fun good times he can. Mainly it looks like he really really enjoys playing live shows and for a rock and roll like myself that is what it is all about, the real deal. He is in it for the good times and rock and roll and as long as the fans show up and he can... HAVE AT IT!!!

I know we all marvel at Mick's physical abilities, but his stage show is so carefully rehearsed and choreographed that it reduces the risk of injury.

Not taking ANYTHING away from Mick, but what Angus does onstage at 61 is simply insane. The complete abandon, the headbanging, the duckwalking, still falling on his side and spinning around...incredible, especially when you consider that he doesn't do anything particularly physical to prepare for a tour and still smokes like a chimney.

Plus the total unprotected exposure to the juggernaut of the P.A. (130 dB's or maybe more?)
All the other band members wear ear-in monitors onstage, not Angus.

Yes this man is unique. Purely incredible.
Since 1973... When he was 18.
And so nice. Friendly.
No problem for him to sign anything for the fans after the show at the hotel in the evening.And again the next day.
Anywhere. Anytime. In every town.
Like in Marseille.

I saw them yesterday in Stade de Suisse in Bern. I can't compare because I saw them the first time - great show! Angus Young incredible and Axl Rose was in a very good shape.

Looking forward to the concert in Stratford on Saturday.

Wow!!! That was a fast recovery! Good for him and good for the fans.

And I like the not AC/DC but a good show part too
Maybe new and different is good and growing... versus old and stagnant.

I skipped AC/DC recently, I wasn't compelled to go... as I begrudgingly agreed that the old singer had kind of lost his voice... and as much as I never liked the idea of this new singer coming board, I would probably go see them if they came around again. So it seems Angus was correct, The show must go on.

i think like most people i thought axl rose was a completely washed up rocker,
and i say this as a fan of guns and roses from the beginning of their career.

this is a guy that most people i know started out loving and learned to despise.

he couldn't handle being a star-beat his girlfriends,jumped into the audience to fight with fans,refused to go onstage with a crowd waiting and finally drove his band members away one by one because he wanted to do some bullshit nine inch nails type of music.
to make matters worse he took the bands name and dragged it through the mud by carrying on with a bunch of wannabes and nobodies.

by the mid 90's we were calling him axlhole,axl pose and the fatter he got the funnier it was.

now comes 2016-he has done a 180 degree turn,gets the old band back together for a huge tour AND bookends it by fronting ac/dc on their tour.
turns out he actually looks healthier at that weight. he's smiling,laughing and seems to be having a great time.more importantly he kept his voice intact and has sounded really good with both bands.

i talked to some people who met him before the vegas shows and they said he was friendly,signed everything for the fans and seemed to be in a good place.
everyone loves a good comeback and this is one of the best we've seen in rock and roll in a long time.
i keep waiting for him to implode but i'm starting to think he just finally grew up,it's the summer of axl-who knew..
