Phil still looks rough, but not nearly as rough as his last court appearance.

Hope he can get his life together, but I'm quite happy with Chris Slade as drummer with AC/DC. smiling smiley

He sort of reminds me of a nephew, but 40 odd years older.

if there was ever gonna be a headline "SOLO FLOP LED TO KILL THREAT"

i would've bet money it would've been a story on jagger and richards.

pertinent and timely on-topic headlines which are clipped in such
a way as to include an even more unusual or hilarious additional headline".

..."offered the associate $200.000, one of his cars, and a motorbike OR a house"...

that must have been one nice motorbike to be equal in value to a house.

That's a bullshit copout. What did Phil think, that he was gonna be the next Phil Collins or Sting??

He's a drug addict and it caused him act erratically and violently. End of story...had nothing to do with the failure of his "solo album".

Absolutely absurd.

Agreed. Two thumbs up for Rockman's ability to educate me in ways I would have never thought possible.

Peace,

Phil also had a restaurant that he had trouble with. I don't know if he still has it, but i know it was closed down for at least a year.

AC/DC should have taught him one thing....stick to do what you do best.

Arnhem was good shit, prob 8/10. It's definitely not the same without Mal & Phil but they still put on a great show.

If only they could get Phil back all would be right with the world once again

I've been to Arnhem last week and I was sure there would be a front-of-stage section, also because of accidents happened in the last decade at large fields. I arrived at 2:30pm to be sure to be in this section. Just before the gates opened, I was about 10th row from the entrancegates and I was sure that I would get in de FOS-section. After going through the gates, I ran into the stadiumfield, and guess what: no FOS-section. I now have the same question about other shows, esp. in Germany, because I will go to Gelsenkirchen with a fieldticket on July 12. Will there be a FOS? Any other visitors of shows in Germany can help me/us out I guess.
Next week I'll be going to the Paris show. They had special gold pitch tickets for sale (of which I'm the owner of one smiling bouncing smiley), so there will be a FOS. I don't know about other shows in Europe.

In the meantime I did a little search on www.acdcfans.net about Nuremburg/Dresden:

Question:
I've got question folks, i guess with 90.000 people in Dresden and 80.000 in Nuremburg their was barriers (so called wavebreakers), right?
If so, are getting the first people coloured wrist bands or something like that? So that they can go in and out before the show. And which colour have the wrist bands? ;-)

Answer:
Yes, two wavebreakers in Nürnberg, first come, first serve. The wrist colors change from city to city and they also have a print on them, so no chance to play any games with that...just show up early.
