OT travel questions for Europe after Dusseldorf show

We'll be coming from Austin TX for the Dusseldorf show and want to see a bit of Europe after the show as we have another 2 weeks...

Anyone suggest transportation recommendations between these cities please:

Dusseldorf to Amsterdam - Assume train but is there one that is nicer, better, direct?

Amsterdam for a few days - suggestions on some must do things that are not typical tourist trap things? Stones related?

Flying out of Amsterdam and we're deciding between going to Prague - suggestions again on ways to get there - sounds like flying better- what airlines are reputable and decent prices? Train too long or is there an overnight train thats nice - had bedbugs on our last overnight train in france so were not excited unless someone says yeah, done it and its clean and great

Suggestions of things to do in Prague and Vienna, again off the beaten path.

Cant wait for the show in Germany, will be interesting to see how Mick rebounds from such a shocking chain of events...

Thanks all!

See the Thread "Europe - Travelling by Train": [www.iorr.org] .

There are direct train connections with InterCityExpress (ICE) every 2 hours from Düsseldorf Hbf (Central Station) to Amsterdam Centraal and a total travel time of 2:25 hours.
Timetables & Journey Planner: [www.bahn.de] (German Railway Company).

Flight from Amsterdam to Prague e.g. [www.easyjet.com] or compare flights on [fly.com] .

Looks like train or driving from Dusseldorf are choices for first leg- any suggested stops along the way if we drive Friday AM leaving Dusseldorf and want to arrive early eve Friday night?

Looking for things to do in Amsterdam Fri and Sat nights June 20-21 and Sun day 6/22- suggestions appreciated

Thanks!
