He should rejoin the Beach Boys. I don't want to see him playing acoustic guitar on Rolling stones like satisfaction and various others because its not necessary.

no i don't think he is but most annoying thing is his guitar playing,i mean we all know who the stones' guitarists are!!and there's only two of them!

Mick should provide the third guitar when needed.

I never heard him live at the various Lix shows I was at. but I have heard him on recordings. maybe they have him as fallback cushion. You know, if Ron or keith goes out during a tune they crank up Blondi for a sound pad.
But actually I believe like the others said: he is Keith's buddy. There are not many of the hardliving Keithians left. Even Ron is in a different mindset by now. I finally remembered who he looks like: Garland Jeffries. Anybody know him? He did some extracool stuff thru the years. I am going to ask on a new thrwad if wnyone recalls him.

He kinda looks like an albino Richard Simmons.

BTW, though I'm a Macca fan, I loved the comparison of he and Angela Landsbury!

He is indeed one strange looking dude and clearly in the Keith camp. Didn't the boys nix Slave on the last tour cuz Blondie couldn't get the percussion end of it down in rehearsals? If this was really true then he should be sacked and Slave should return to the setlist.

That's based on the FF documentary, I suppose? CAn't imagine Blondi not being able to grasp such a percussion part. But you're right about one thing: Slave should be playe live more often!

In FF there is ONE minute of jagger showing Blondi a ceratin veryu simple beat for Slave. I'm sure a musician of BC's caliber was able to pull that one off.

Somebody should take Blondes and Chuck Leavell and dump them on a deserted island along with the entire horns section (minus Bobby).

He waited several hours for death to come.
Death was late.

Blondie is very talented.
But I do not think he is useful on stage with the Rolling Stones.

Honestly, did you hear his voice or his guitar during the 2 last tours ?

I like the Stones raw : just the 4 of them + Darryl winking smiley
