I Can Not Find The Setlist Wish List So.....

You may be bored to death with this rambling but I feel the need to express my wishes....never heard the guys do ER which would be new for me and reports they are rehearsing. I'm partial to Under My Thumb but can't see them playing that. Shine A Light, Loving Cup would be wonderful...Time Waits For No One, Memory Motel (too many great songs). Keith - You Don't Have To Mean It, Wanna Hold You, Little T & A, You Got The Silver...I Guess whatever they play I'll be happier than a pig in shit :-)

Whatever keeps the crowd in a frenzy works for me.

I have come to accept the warhorses. They keep the momentum going. It's all about building the show to it's grand climax. Nothing like the "horses" to keep the crowd in a frenzy.

What about Crazy Mama?

Time Is On My Side

I would really like to hear this song on the 14 0n Fire Tour, as it would seem to be a tribute to the Stones longevity and stamina. They are still making hit records fifty years or so after their humble beginnings. It would have been a perfect fit for the 50 and Counting Tour also, for the same reasons. The guitar solo by Keith is great, and it would give Jagger a chance to talk the words in the middle of the song (instead of that silly stuff on Miss You). He rarely does that anymore.

Some fans might think it would be a parody of their long career, but I see it otherwise. It would work well in a concert as the third or fourth song.

This is a dream of mine too. And it is my wifes favourite Stones song. In fact I already started a thread about it:

Time is on my side - time to bring it back!

15 and counting. No stopping. Stockholm next.

Apparently they have no idea how great Saint Of Me is. It's as good as anything they have ever done and deserves more play.

This is what I have been asking for years but you are not allowed to moan about setlists nowadays, are you? Therefore, I always opted for Lady Jane or Heart of stone (I don't think these are obscure songs, theese are their early hits).

The one-off performance of She smiled sweetly was great as great as Lady Jane in London, IMO. The latter song came as a big surprise, and Mick Jagger proved that he still can be impeccable doing such a ballad. Even Long long while could work great in a place like the Waldbuehne Berlin but I have givenup hope that they will ever perform this obscure song live.

This is what I thought about the Stuttgart concert in 2006: it was technically and soundwise perfect, of course, but I missed some touching moments. Everything sounded fast and rocking but two ballads would have been a real Highlight of the otherwise 'runthrough' show.
