Got the same. We'll have to exchange them against "real" tickets on June 13 at the stadium.

Ridotto Promo Posto in Piedi is not equal to Golden Circe in my view.

Every Lucky Dip description says the same

exactly. it basically means that there is a promotion for standing tickets. this doesn't mean they are in the goleden circle, or general admission.
all tickets are standing aniway, and you'll discover how lucky you've been only when you'll get the tix the day of the gig.

anyway, scored to LD for Roma either.

ciao

Question: before I can print / download the ticket I am asked to enter the name of the beneficiary. I do not know yet how will go with me to paris. Can I leave it blank? (I think entering two times my own name would not help much.)
Any idea?

Thanks

My question as well

For Roma: I didn't even notice it. I think I left it blank, for sure I didn't type any other name.
I just received a confirmation via mail; I will have to bring this confirmation together with my ID or my credit card, get the 2 tickets and the wristbands for me and the person who will come with me.
hope this helps

Nobody had answered my question a few page before, but 10am CEST (5pm in Japan) duly arrived so...I tried and got a pair of LD tickets for Rome.

I'm usually a 'last-minute' person, secure a ticket at a later date (often buy on the door), book a flight only a fortnight before the trip etc...
But this time I couldn't resist the temptation that I might hit the Pit if I'm lucky, with a cost of only 65 Euro (double price to be exact, as a purchaser has to buy a pair). And if not, at least I can get in to the GA area (this is where my aforementioned question makes sense -- good position or nosebleed, it doesn't matter in Circo Massimo, assumingly, it'll be on your effort), in still somewhat cheaper than the normal price.

There is some unfinished business, though. Other than having to find one to come with me before I collect the wristband at the venue, my situation in late June is unclear at this moment so I'm not sure if I can make it 100% -- it may well be clear as late as mid June. The worst scenario is that I might end up wasting two tickets' worth of money.
If unfortunately that will be the case, I don't think I'll be eligible to be among the top on the list of "your biggest Stones regret" contenders though, given what's going on in OZ/NZ...

If I remember well, it is written "loud and clear" on rs.com that you have to indicate a name on each ticket.
As far as I am concerned, I have not printed my tickets yet. This is the good thing with e-tickets, you don't need to print them immediately.

I don't think the name of the guest is required now:

Lucky Dip purchasers will be required to show ID which must match the name of credit card used to purchase the tickets at the box office when collecting their tickets and must have their guest with them. Both the purchaser and their guest will be wrist banded at the time of collection and wrist bands must be worn at all times whilst in the venue. Lucky Dip Tickets are not transferrable. Persons that are not the purchaser and the purchaser’s guest may be refused admission.

Really pleased for those who got lucky dips! And seems quite a few got for Rome - so should be a good group of IORReans there. smileys with beer

I was tempted to try for Paris but if I go there, I really want a Pelouse VIP or Pelor and think I'd rather pay the extra to secure that.

So, I tried for Madrid. Didn't get anything - but perhaps it's best I save the money....Might still try again later though....

Same here, John.
My precious 'Monkey Woman' will mosty probably NÓT be able to join me, due to job restrictions;
and besides her, I only got one (my regular) 'Stones mate' in mind; but there's a fair chance he won't be able to join me either at this relatively short notice.
And off course, I have to score tickets first. smiling bouncing smiley
But when all of this tuns out to be the case: you're on!

For all the $85 tix I bought for the US shows I ended up with shitty tix in the rafters, and that was the gamble I took.

But....

That didn't stop me from self-upgrading at all of them.
For one of them, I made it to the outside barrier of the pit.

I know several people who got in the pit with their $85's, so it did happen occasionally.

And for several shows they had massive ticket drops days before the show, dumping many of the overpriced tix at a very reasonable price.

It was that easy to self-upgrade your ticket? Please tell me more about your experience winking smiley

I went to 2 shows where I had $85's. Opening night at Staples, I had decent seats surrounded by people who had $650 tickets.

The second night we were at the top of Staples. By the 4th song, we were down in the lower levels.

For that second show, I went with someone who bought 5 or 6 pairs of $85's for the US tour (a poster on this site). He had horrible seats each time, so by the 3rd song, he would find an AEG official and complain about the sound (or something else. If that person couldn't do anything, he would find someone else until he got upgraded (and that's what happened with the show I attended with him). He said it worked each time except for the last show he attended (when I guess they finally got wise to him???).

Not always some people were sent back or even escorted to their seats. We saw it happen in Philly 2. Only the ones with Pit tickets did get in. However there was once a big fuzz when not everybody was given permission. So don't Count on it in Europe as concerts seem to be really sold out except for the third channels.
