Re: What is your favorite/least favorite guitar of the Stones' guitar arsonal?

This will change daily for me. But today, I'll say that I've always been partial to the way the Gibson Reverse Firebird VIIs looked in the hands of Jones and Richards, circa '65. (For whatever reason I'm not as big of a fan when Woody plays one.)

Least favorite? You know, it's sacrilege perhaps, but the '75 black tele custom has just never looked right to me with those 4 knobs and the big pickguard. Even the humbucker in it can't revive the aesthetics for me, and I like 'buckered teles. (Really like the old Schecter Saturns/PTs circa 79-86.)

Ronnie's Danelectro Sitar guitar is not a favorite either.

"Macabre", it was stolen in 1979. Zemaitis made a replica of it since that Keith has been using.

Of what I heard it was not stolen but burned in one of the infamous Redlands fires.
BTW the replica wasn't used by Keith that much. ;-)

It was destroyed when Keith's rented house in LA burned down, late 1978. The Redlands fire was much earlier, 1973.
