I was at the Aerosmith concert last weekend. Doors opened at 18 o'clock. I was there at 19 o'clock. Would have been better to be there a bit earlier... But not earlier than when doors open if you have GA. So around 1730-1800,

In the past, when I had Golden Circle tickets for the Stones in Europe, I always went about 90 minutes before gates opened, and there was usually a very small crowd. Of course there were the people who had spent the night or had lined up from early morning, but on the Bigger Bang tour, it was just a handful of hard core fans. More people arrive in the hour before gates open, but it was still a fairly small group, so even if you arrive right when gates open, you will have a pretty good spot. The only caveat to all this - this tour seems much more popular than the Bigger Bang Tour.

On gc i would say 1,5 h before the show. Te Price is between 6-8 eur in normal bars, there is cheaper places on Fridhemsplan and Södermalm. Have you chipsen where to live yet?

Interesting new development - TWO openers? Gonna be a long night waiting in the Golden Circle for the main event.

If there indeed are Early Entry tickets for the Golden Circle (aka the Tongue Pit package) those people will man the front row and most of the rail. Only the leftover spots will be available to those with "regular" Golden Circle tickets.

This is what happened in Paris, for example.

So it really doesn't matter how early you arrive, without the VIP package you most likely will miss out on the exact front row anyway. Having said that, of course it pays to show up early to secure the best possible spot (of what's left after the Early Entry people are in)

So, Starr - I take it you have the Event Travel VIP package. You are good; you'll get in before the rest of the Golden Circle ticket holders.

How's the weather looking foir next week? Are Swedish crowds usually pretty laid back when it comes to getting to shows early? I have GC, but since I rarely get to Sweden, would rather enjoy the city than stand on the pitch on the afternoon/evening before the show. If I get there at 8:00 pm, how crowded do you think it will be?

The current weather forecast for Tuesday says +18 high and partly cloudy. +16 in the evening just around showtime. Not too shabby, I guess. Scandinavia has been pretty cold lately, but it should be getting better.

It does, and the roof will be closed for the show.

Also note that the opening act will start at 7 PM, and not as 7:30 PM as stated on the ticket.
