I wish you all a great time in Stockholm. I was planning on going myself but things didn't turn out that way in the end. Unfortunately. If you get some time over; take a walk in the city.
Stockholm is a beautiful town. Not just "Gamla Stan (Old Town)". Djurgården, Söder, Mosebacke, Stadshusparken are all beautiful places to visit.

When it comes to being in a line for hours, I never know what's worse, pouring rain or broiling heat. Or howling gales. Funny how you forget all that when the show starts, though!

Sounds similar to me. I've been trying to rearrange things so that I could make this show but it proved impossible. On the plus side, I feel much less stressed now I've stopped my frantic plan changing stuff! And I definitely want to visit Stockholm another time (after looking into it for the show, it looks very worth a visit).

Latvian: all those With Golden Circle are Being told to line up at gate A. However the gate R/H people are indeed separated by a fence. The numbered list is still the same!

Where do you get a Number for the line?

From the first people in line. They have a notebook and a marker. They are the ones with sleeping bags and folding chairs.

Again: the numbered list ONLY applies to Golden circle. Regular GA lines up in the old fashioned way.

The Golden Circle line was also told to stick around after 12 o'clock. Of course you can leave to go to the toilet or grab a bite to eat but otherwise be at the gate.

Yes, I'm in Stockholm. One thing thats good about seating tickets is that you can sit down with a beer downtown and just wait for the evening to come. Then go to the arena and find your seats. No stress... But fos would have been great.... Really looking forward to the show. The city is full of people with stonesclothings. Nice!

Correct! I think DP & Gibsonman are actually going to Roskilde. They were both right behind me in GA in Oslo, by the B Stage. I am in my place in Stockholm,getting ready to head out there very shortly. I'm in GC this time so not such a rush. I went out to the Tele2 yesterday to check it out and met Norwegian IORRian HeartforStones, who I also met in Oslo. His claim to fame is being thrown out of the Stones 1st ever Oslo show in 1965 but being let back into the later one the same day!

You know you are on the early steps of being a die hard when you start to meet the same people again. I met 3 in Paris who I met in Oslo and saw Bjornulf pacing around,smiling and saying Hi to the many fans who know him.

As for your BT past, wow!!! Did you know North Star House in Swindon at all ? I temped there for 2 years in the 90s and know several former employees, including some engineers, most of whom seem to have moved across from London! Wow, small world. There`s every chance we`know/knew some of the same people.

I saw the local tribute band Rocks Off last night at Stampen Jazzpub in Old Town here. they played a 3 hour set and covered loads of rareties. I thought they were fabulous, with a very authentic "Mick". Their "Ronnie/Mick T/Brian" was a Swedish resident Englishman. The place was packed out with many IORRians present I`m sure.

Anyone still looking for a ticket, AXS have some side view seats available right now (Level A).

Sadly it's impossible for me to make this show now - but maybe this will help someone out.
