Just came back from Lisbon last night and the people in the audience there both sang, shouted, waving arms and danced - at least in the area where we were standing. It is really nice being abroad to see the Stones! cool smiley Wish I were seeing them again, but alas! Not this time around, unless something very unexpected happens...

Does anyone know if there is a curfew for Rome?

Do you really believe that a country where the prime minister throws bunga bunga party is a place where they enforce curfews spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Hey guys,

on this link it said the doors in Rome do already open at 1pm. Does somebody know if the Lucky Dip Tickets can be collected by that time or do we have to wait longer? I know it has been asked before, but I guess "B" is the collection point for Lucky Dips?!
Thanks smiling smiley

Woahhh

According to map on this site, GA can go to the front of the stage and stand next to the walkway on the right! Golden tickets are on the left of the stage and in front of the walkway. So if you have a general admission ticket you can stand right at the front/next to walkway if you get there first?

Is that correct???

If so that will be amazing. A long day of standing as well eye popping smiley

Map of Circus Maximus gig looks good, last year for the first Hyde park show I went in about 4pm and got very close to the runway and the second show I went in about 7.30pm and still got pretty close to the front so I don't know if there is really a need to rush in as soon as the gates open.

If the gates open at 1, do you think there will be any more warm acts before John Mayer at 7?

UNFORTUNATELY, it might well be the case.

And by the way, in the light of what happened after his ousting, the bunga bunga guy is turning out to be a much more trustable person than the guys who took charge of the country after him, just saying.

Sorry, now i'm a bit comfused. Gates open at 1? Not at 4, as my ticket says?

Two more questions:

(A) I suppose that Metro carrys people from Fiumicino airport to Circo Massimo stop. But how? Is there Airport stop (or terminal) on Metro B Line, itself, or does exist connection with Metro B?

(cool smiley If I take a taxi for the course Airpot - Circo Massimo, how many euros have i to pay, approximately?

Thanks a lot, folks.

No fiumicino is not on Metro B. You can get to Termini Railway Station by train in 40 minutes ca (I believe fare is 15 euros ca for the ticket) and then go to Metro line B to Circo Massimo (3 stops)

Circo Massimo stop will be closed the day of the show, Colosseo is the correct stop that is the second Metro line B stop from Termini (about ten minutes walking to go Circo Massimo)

My route home from Zurich included a quick stopover in Rome, with transit time and everything I had around 50 minutes to go somewhere.

I went to Circo Massimo and then walked all to the Colosseum, enjoyed the view for half an hour and returned to the airport.

There was a great feeling in the air, I very much wish I could return on the 22nd, will try to sort things out to make it.

Here are some pics:

I make daily videos on the tour at [youtube.com]
Going to: London - Manchester - Twickenham - Berlin - Marseille - Prague - Warsaw
