Hey Tony, this is going to be my only Stones concert on this tour. This is the first time Im going with my friends. After all my Stones stories from the concerts they just had to go. I hope to meet you at some concert in the future, 'cause i don't think they will ever stop playing..

19:30 The Temperance Movement (I hope they perform for 45 minutes, this time)

90 minutes door open before show start, this is not so much time for letting 50.000 people inthere.

I don't think many people are interesting to listen The Temperance Movement, especially the ones who have their seats and don't have to come earlier to catch a good position.

You take the CAT(16 min) or express train(30ish min) to Wien Mitte-Landstraße station in the centre area, which is directly connected with two u-bahn/metro lines. U3 & U4.
From here you can do the following.
U4 towards Heiligenstadt
* Stop Schottenring
U2 towards Seestadt
* Stop Stadion

Wish I could have made that show, but in Spain the next week or so then on to Madrid ............................without a ticket at the moment.

Just arrived at Vienna Sporthotel. In time for England vs Italy, which I'm watching on an Austrian TV channel. Might not last the whole match...only less than 5 hrs of sleep last night after the concert!
Speaking of Stade de France: when I left this morning and walked past the venue there were teenage girls lining up for One Direction - and that show is almost a week away!

If you have time to kill in Vienna, come over to Bratislava today. They have a special Hungary fest in the main square - food, entertainment, etc. Then a street art fair a quick walk away with cheap beer, vinyl (a Hungarian "Miss You" pressing for 7 euros) and hipster crowd, and other cool stuff to see/do. I love this town.

I arrived to Vienna at noon. I'm traveling with my 19 and 16 years old children. Had a nice tourist walk and now plans are to have a nice dinner downtown.
