I woke up at 4am to listen to French radio RTL, hoping to get some free tickets... And found out that for now they are offering Hyde Park DVDs only (no tickets).

They even called me back (after I left a message) and confirmed me that no tickets will Be offered before 10am.

And its still more than one hour to go.
I fear a classic ticketmaster breakdown.

I did 5 email alerts for the shows that I got tickets for. None sent me an alert.

This is so f*ckin' incredible. When the Stones played last time at the SDF, it was an absolut non-event. You could easily have spent the day of the concert in Paris without knowing about it.
This time, it's huge. Friends from Paris tell me there are advertising everywhere. The medias, TV, radios, newspaper talk about it, i mean not even the event itself but the ticket sale to come...
I live in the south west of the country, and usually my collegues don't give a shit about rock events in general. They just know me as a big Stones fan. But till monday, everybody ask me about the sale. I've heard on TV, blah blah, i'd like to go, blah blah.
It has not been that big since at least Urban JUngle in 1990.

Ticketnet.fr: Once you're on the Rolling Stones tickets page - before the sale - you have to refresh again and are back of the line again.

I was on the 'page d'attente'.
After some waiting I am re-directed to the Rolling Stones ticket page on their site.

But now I can't order tickets because it's 9;20.
So I have to refresh when tickets are on sale and that will put me last in the waiting line again.

UPDATE: they cancelled the waiting line. Seems fair.

Their messages are a little odd, yes.

I was in the waiting que at 9:15. At the momemt that screen is completely white with nothing on it. I opened a different browser and it gives me a different page now. saying this is a waiting page.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong - or maybe I've misunderstood... I'm on Ticknet.fr. Don't seem to be able to get to any waiting room, and can't log in to the account I created! Maybe I just need to wait for 9am (10am here in the UK).

Edit - just seen BowieStone's post about the waiting line being cancelled.

Stones ticket stress getting to me already! Of course, it's 9am here in the UK!

Waiting line is still there when I am clicking on the event. They did change to a different screen like 10-15 minutes ago.

Don't know why i'm still alive. Each time i have to deal with this ticket stress, i get 10 years older...Whick means i'm 600 years old

Good chance to all, pay attention that there are many "professionnal scalpers" in France, and this explains the reason why it will be difficult to get good (if any) tickets...

Yeah the stress levels aren't funny anymore =P

Okay, I guess whilst we're all waiting I might as well voice my nagging concern... I think my mind's pretty much made up, and I'm definitely trying for a ticket.... I'll be going on my own (my travel buddy doesn't like Paris for some reason and refuses to go there ever again!). Never been abroad on my own before and haven't been abroad at all for a number of years. Am not overly bothered about doing the Stones show on my own - but I assume I'll still enjoy checking out Paris (intend to do the tourist stuff the day after the show)?
