Looking forward to this concert!!!

So much to do around the city. I got 3 days and maybe coming back after my string of shows.

Definitely doing the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Anyone know how late the Eiffel T. stays open? I'd like to go up during the day and the night.

A little surprising, I don't know confused smiley

Prices from 78,50 € (cat 3 standing) until 150 € (carré Or)

They don't say if this "carré Or" is standing or a seating area though. Mystère...

This stadium is so large that I wouldn't be surprised that no price are above 150 €. Even the "best" seats don't have a good view if the whole "pelouse" is standing. It's why I don't like concerts in this place.

Pelouse Or is gold circle, and in past shows at Stade de France, it has always been great - French people don't like lining up for hours to get to the front of the stage, so if you show up at a reasonable time before gates open, you get very close. No guarantee, but in the past that has been my experience.

"Carre Or" at SDF is supposed to be seating ticket..
View is pretty good.

But i could be mistaken.

SDF usually gets a "Pelouse Or" setting...

Lets wait and see...

I think you're right.

"Carré Or" are the beast seating area.
Standing front of stage is "Pelouse Or": i think the price would be around 100-120 € (for ABB I think it was around 90 -?-).

Note that Event Travel is also selling "Early Entry" VIP packages for SDF

Anyway hoping that the regular Pelouse d'Or would be "only" around 150€!

Yes and compared to Vienna for the which the seating plan is now known and has DC/GC/GA it's only missing "early GA"...

The cheapest GC so far has been Werchter I believe at €150 and that's a festival so it's pretty unlikely "Pelouse Or" (the normal name at the SdF) will be between €100 and €120 I'm afraid, unless it's a huge area like for Springsteen or Roger Waters and even so... And yes I've seen "Carré Or" used for seats generally but who knows! I guess we'll soon know ;-)

In 2007, the botton of the "Pelouse Or" was the B stage. So, rather huge.

Absolutely right. Sorry for the confusion ! My tickets say pelouse or debout. 91 Euro in both 2006 and 2007.

Those packages are worth it if, and only if, you are willing to go early enough to take advantage of it.

At Bruce Springsteen last year the Pelouse D'Or was pretty big, too, all the way to the soundboard.

Hi all.

Just a question.

If show ends at about midnight,
and my train leaves the Montparnasse at 07:30 in the morning,
is it possible to spend six o seven hours waiting for the train in the station or is it closed during the night?

Thank you.

Nothing known about the layout?

Nothing about a defenitive plan from what I could see.

However if you look at this layout perlouse is probably the entire main field surrounding the stage. But Who knows.

Another layout for One Direction's show in SDF with 4 kinds of carrés.

Interesting since it also shows a seated 'Carré Or" as mentioned by Carrefour.

If you merge the "pelouse" two by two it might well be the layout for the Stones although their catwalk/b-stage seems shorter.

Map of Stade de France - Rolling Stones in 2007:

"Pelouse or" ("Pelor" ) called here "Or debout" was 91 €
Usually the words "carré or" are used for the best seats, here in orange on the map.

Have you never been to Paris? Rather than standing in long lines to get up the Eiffel Tower, you might consider instead walking up the 10+ flights of stairs to get to the top of the Arc de Triomph. One I was at the top once in the early evening, just as it was getting dark - I watched as the sun set and the Eiffel Tower and all of the little windows in all of those apartments across the city all began lighting up. It was beautiful.

No, first time to Europe.

That does sound nice. I'll try and do both. I'm in town on the 12th - 14th. Then after Dusseldorf, I may come back to Paris for a few days.

I have to do the Eiffel Tower. My niece is taking french and it's all she has been talking to me about. Told her I would get her tons of pictures.

The ADC closes at 11 pm the ET closes at midnight.
Ming you need to do both! thumbs up

And don't wander around the SDF site on show day : you'll get in trouble pretty quickly.

I don't know around Montparnasse, but the Metro Line 13 that goes from SdF down to Montparnasse also stops at Gare Saint Lazare. Outside this station, rue du Rocher, there is a café that stays open all night. Then around 5.30 you take the line 13 again, to Montparnasse.

Thanks for the prices. Doesn't sound bad. So it seems we're gonna have a golden and a diamond circle!
Btw, if you're good at it and want to maximize your luck, at least 3 different ticketing services will sell tixs with their own stocks.
Ticketnet, francebillet (the fnac ticketing service) and the sdf ticketing service.
I'm typing it on my iphone and it's not comfortable, but you will find the links easilly. As far as i remember, each have an English version. Check them, if you are afraid about the mailing there are possibilities to get the tixs in some supermarkets with the mail confirmation and the credit card.
