What do you guys think security will say if I bring a rucksack? Will it be confiscated? It will only hold tickets, iPod, psp (handheld gaming system).

It'll be a huge problem. They'll take one look at it, arrest you immediately, expel you from the venue, deport you from the country, and from thereon your own country will then take over the reins and subject you to an investigation which could well result in confiscation of your passport. Is all this aggravation worth it ...... just for the sake of a rucksack ? I'd burn the f***ing thing if I were you !

I'm pretty sure this picture was staged for the press. Do you really think they would sit longer than five minutes in a cafe at a crowded place like this?

Berlin Waldbühne will be the "club show" of the European Tour 2014 i.e. time for something special. Last time they played Waldbühne in 1998 they had a special set list. See reports:

From that picture, it looks like an amazing venue.

It is an amazing venue. I was there in 1990 for Whitesnake + Support Acts: Aerosmith & Poison

I remember, the first 5 rows were higher as the rest of the standing places. Don't know if that is still the case.

Just got back from the hotel. Amazing atmosphere, hundreds of people gathered in front of the main entrance, joking, chanting, somebody played some Stones music from a portable music player, passers stopped when they heard the word 'Rolling Stones' and waiting for hours. Anyway no movement by the band, we only saw Charlie and Mick Taylor in one of the windows plus Chuck, Darryl, Bernard, Jane Rose and relatives. But it was so much fun being there! See you tomorrow

When I was at the venue today there were already two teenagers camping out and lining up for tomorrow. They told me they had been there since 8.30am..

No sight of the Stones at the hotel but I did get Daryl and Chuck. I let Bernard go, already got his autograph.

Aerosmith rocked! Time to get some sleep now. I will be at the venue around 9am most likely.
