I am so tempted to go to this show, if I can use my miles for the flight. But looking at the pictures of the venue, the layout doesn't seem very short-person-friendly. Right or wrong?

Its an ampitheatre. I cant imagine that'll be a problem.

Yes, I know, but the height of the stage and the shallowness of the seating give me the impression that, one tall person in front of me and it's all over. confused smiley Too risky to be worth crossing the Atlantic, anyway.

Aqua, I would offer you my high heeled black boots, but I am sure they are too big for you. Are you really that height-challenged? If so, I bet you could sneak your way past some of the Amazon's in front of you. smiling smiley

Aquamarine, these and some long pants. You'll have no problem.

I'm just under five feet.

That's an excellent suggestion, MingSubu, but I suspect they would make dancing difficult. I do have some boots with enormous platform soles that I bought just for such occasions, but I've yet to have the nerve to wear them in public.

I bet they look great, but I get the dancing part. I usually end up kicking my shoes off whenever I do some serious dancing, but that's not very practical at a concert. Comfort vs. style...such a pain sometimes. smiling smiley

No Ming, I'm gonna have to dance to the Stones at home. Just hoping they come back to the States as soon as they're done with the 2014 tour.

Me too. That's why I'm so torn between trying to go to Berlin, and saving the $$$ for possible future dates (US, UK, possibly South America) that may not happen. Aarrgghh.

No pictures of me in the boots. I don't know how I had the nerve to even buy them.

Latebloomer,

If you see any shirts from the shows that you like, just email. I'll grab 'em. Then mail them when I get back.

I once knew a Dutch guy who always had a Styrofoam (styropor) block with him.
No problem to get access, no problems with the view.

German ticket prices updated

Hello,

I know that for some of you it insensitive that I post this under the given circumstances. But it is likely that the German shows will go on sale this friday. And if they will they probably won`t cancel them after they went on sale.

Ticketmaster has updated the prices for the german shows.

There are 3 different types of standing prices. So I think it will be General Admission - Golden Circle - Diamond Circle or whatever they might be called...

It´s indeed hard to talk about further shows and planning stuff right now, that´s true. But otherwise the pre-sale starts on thursday, if they won´t cancel the tour, so it´s certainly OK to discuss this stuff!

It would be nice to know where the seats are located on these venues! Is there something like a map for those shows, is "Stehplatz" in Berlin equal to the pit? Can´t be IMO, because it´s to cheap ....confused smiley

Danke, Jan!
But as there really is a more expensive category in the stadium in Düsseldorf than at Waldbühne, can I expect those seats to be placed directly next to Chuck's keyboard?

You can see "Stehplatz" in the middle where only a few people can stand. You can call that "pit", too.

Danke, Hockenheim ... Dafür wären die Tickets aber immer noch "zu günstig" ...

THX Hockenheim, but still "to cheap" ....

I wonder how big the first standing section is. I have a feeling that with the current stage height it might be a waste of money... Even when standing at the back of it.
