Wow, seems like the high ticket prices turn out to be a gamble that won't pay off, at least in Zürich. Can't believe I even bought a one-year subscription to their "member club" to secure two golden circle tickets in the member presale yesterday just to see that hours after the start of the regular sale GC tickets are still available.

Well you get a card, a magazine and 20% discount on the day ski passes I did the same mistake, so it's two of us

After the 2 tickets I bought yesterday for my daughter and me, I secured 1 for my gf this morning - all 3 FOS Keith side. The countdown has started in my family - another 67 days until Ronnie's 67th birthday bash

Apparently, they sold 40.000 tickets within 40 minutes and even 22.000 during the first three minutes (!!!)

I have my doubts... I checked a few times this morning and added tickets to the shopping cart, because this allows you to see which seats you would get. And I always got the 'bad' blocks, far away from the stage. I therefore assume that they start filling the bad seats first and later on sell the better ones. And, surprise, even now (12.30) they only give you the far away seats (e.g. block 7 for category 1 seats). Which indicates that there are still plenty of tickets unsold...

There is now the possibilty to see it. Seating chart is online now

Hmmm, why I spent 50$ extra for secure the golden circle? It seems zurich has a lot of troubles to sell the tickets. Golden circle are still available (max 8 tx person).
But for sure i'm glad to have my tx! It s only rocknroll

Well, I would not call it trouble if it is not sold out in 20 minutes. I think that nobody doubts it will be sold out (very soon). It is just so tempting when I see I could have GC only in exchange for my card number :-) It is so easy. But my wife would kill me :-)

Just keep trying:_ we ended up with 2 seats (together) in Block 5 Row 5... Now all that remains of our 14 on Fire itinerary is Paris Tickets!!

It seems to me that there's a lot of tickets available.

According to the local newspaper they sold already 40'000 tickets which is definitely not true.

seems like the normal standig tickets are now sold out. also if you look at the seat map this show sold very, very well. i guess some 90% of the tickets are now sold.

Tickets for golden circle are still available (Ronnie's side) and for seats too

All tickets available....good dicision to play large venues so to keep prices relative low...150 euro is more or less what people want to spend these days I guess for toptickets

JJF59, you speak the truth and I fully agree with your observations about the Berlin concert ticket sales and the counter-point of Zürich. I was so furious at how the Berlin tickets were "distributed". I logged on at point 12:01 a.m. and was immediately in a "waiting list" that took 4 minutes...after which time all FOS tickets were "gone" (and as you say only to appear on eBay or on viagogo for thousands of Euros). I stayed up all night and refreshed my Browser every few minutes, hoping that the FOS tickets would re-appear. There were opportunities to get seats, but my heart was set on standing in front, as I always do at Stones concerts.

Well, Zürich was a totally different and a very professional set-up. The servers were totally stable and I was able to get my 2 Golden Circle (FOS) tickets. Yes, they are very expensive, but front of the stage in a relatively intimate, small stadium in beautiful Switzerland is a dream come true. This might be the "sleeper" show of the tour...the best chance to see the Stones up close in a really great setting.

I have seen every Stones American or European Tour since 1972 and I am very happy that I will be able to see them is such a beautiful location. Now I can start thinking about Madrid or Stockholm...

Indeed, GC is far away from cheap and as far as I remember, I paid in 2007 240 Euros for the Frankfurt gig plus the 100 Us$ for the official pre-sale on rs.com.
