#31 takes 24 min, so calculate 30'ish in the afternoon out there. Departs every 6th min. Thon Astoria got a great location, close to station, main street (Karl Johan). It's a Thon hotel so should be OK.

Today I took Flam railway and Bergen express and just arrived at Oslo.
View from train was awesome!!!

Many people take the train and walk from Lysaker station. It is 2 km and takes 25 minutes. Train is fast and never stuck in traffic, while traffic in Oslo is a nightmare 3pm-5pm. And further on show day I assume. There are no bus lanes out of the city to the Fornebu arena... Biggest bottleneck in the area. Also, if you are swinging by the meeting place Radisson BLU, that is sort of same walk nearby.

I really have got no experience with Golden Circle-tickets. I have only left my ticket at home, by the way, without looking much at it. How do these tickets work internally in that area? Is it vital to meet early to obtain a "decent" place within the area? Or is it not important to do that? Thank you for the answer that someone will give.

I'm over from UK and I plan to queue from 1 or 2pm for GA, entrance D2. If GC isn't sold out by showtime I hope they let early arrivals for GA into GC as the Promoter will want GC full, even if they didn't all have GC tickets.
