L'Wren Scott, American fashion designer to the stars and long-time girlfriend of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, was found dead at her New York apartment on Monday.

Jagger, 70, was "completely shocked and devastated" by the death of the 49-year-old Scott, a spokesman for the rocker said.

Jagger and the Rolling Stones arrived in Perth yesterday and was due to perform here tomorrow night.

An announcement was expected around 9am today regarding the tour but fasterlouder.com.au is reporting that a representative from Frontier Touring told touring partners Triple M that wasn’t the case.

The representative said the band “has gathered together in Perth where they’re dealing with the situation”, and that reports of Mick Jagger leaving the country were – “to their knowledge” – wide of the mark.

Not that it's appropriate to speculate on this so soon after such awful news, but no, it's very hard to imagine the remaining tour dates being fulfilled now.

Horrible just horrible.
