It basically says that Stones has been signed for Roskilde Festival and that the signing costed Roskilde half their budget (20 mill. DKR)

Am really sad to think they may not do UK unless its the O2 later in the year.I dread to think how expensive that will be.A normal stadium gig in the UK would be wonderful.I did go to Hyde Park last year and we were at the front but my son got sunstroke so we moved away.Glastonbury, you basically buy tickets for months before knowing the line up so you can't count that so please a UK normal Stadium gig!

Stones homeland, a goodbuy to Europe, would be fair enough - you never know if it is the last time.

I really hope it's not the 5th, I have a wedding to attend, only solution will be to get them to split up or induce very cold feet in advance:-) ANY rumour is welcome for exac date:-)

Anyone know about the single day ticket price for Roskilde? I understand they're not on sale yet.

I strongly doubt they'll play Roskilde on the 2nd. I think it'll be Saturday the 5th of July.

Roskilde Festival REALLY is in need of a prime band. The festival look poor this year, so signing The Rolling Stones will be MASSIVE news for them. As far as I see it, they DON'T have a name for the big night - which is Saturday the 5th.

No no Michrud. The announcement will probably be April 2nd. The concert is most likely on the Saturday July 5th as you say.

And the festival hasn't begun in the middle of the festival period because?

I know it's confusing.

Roskilde Festival i from June 29th - July 6.

This means that the gate opens on the Sunday 29th but the actual (music) festival won't begin until Thursday the 3rd.
