I hope this doesn't mean that Singapore will go back to 'normal'. I'd hate to have missed this setlist by one show.

Brown Sugar may be banned in China. They didn't play it last time. So probably a different warhorse run today, too.

"All Down The Line" made its entrance to 'war horses' section - that's fifth 'new song' compared to previous gig. We all starting to talk about a new world record here, even though some of the praisal should be addressed to Chinese Authorities...

If a ban is the reason for a great setlist, it just shows that The Stones are getting older and stuck in their ways.

I do hope I am wrong and they just fancy a nice change. winking smiley

Now if the Stones could do a bunch of dates in places like N Korea and the like, the sets would be a big bag of surprise nightly.

Maybe they need to do a "Better Red than Dead mini-tour: NKorea, Viet Nam, Cuba, Laos...

Well, if the Stones find their way to Russia, probably Putin with his recent Anti-American ethos could ban all the songs which name US locations... Goodbye "Honky Tonk", "Brown Sugar", "Miss You"...

GTFO with this set! I'm so jealous for my Finnish friend who is there at the moment with her husband (his first show, too)! =)

For me personally I wouldn't. But then I've seen them performed live several times. i could imagine the disappointment of not hearing them from a vast majority of the audience-and rightfully so. I'm of the group who would love to hear rarities-Winter, Summer Romance, Till the Next Goodbye--songs you'd never hear at a Stones show but enough of a realist to know that there are songs that Stones cannot omit. The addition of GOOMC and PIB as regulars since 50 and Counting is great. It's nice to see them acknowledging their '60s material. SFM should be a permanent part of the setlist-even in non-communist countries!

It's a shame, isn't it? If the most interesting set list so far would just be the result of censorship instead of a band decision? And they are not even really rare songs. But people get excited (me too) like about a glass of water after a walk through the desert. That said, I think the desert can also be beautiful. But it's refreshing to see some unexpected green here and there, or a little oasis.
