I've seen Respectable a few times where it was just a train wreck - I think LA Forum in 2006 was one? But, they played it well at the O2, so that gets my vote.

I'm going with If You Can't Rock Me. And please get MT in there...

Merely a gimmick for website hits. If they want to play a song, they'll play it. If they dont, they wont. As if proof were needed - YGMR was in the fan vote for yesterday and didnt win. They still performed the song anyway.

The Mick Taylor Song should be the webvote. Everybody would go home happy, different songs on different dates, but only one for those who don't want him up there.

I think, from last year on til now, it must be law that at least two songs from Some Girls are in every vote. Other than Beast, they lose every time, although they're not dogs like YGMR. I went with IYCRM. It would be nice if MT were included, but I'll admit they did it pretty well when it was a regular in the Licks tour.

yep, that should make both of those folks happy indeed.

IYCRM and no ST so does it mean it's on the setlist now? One can always hope...Wonder if they'll have the nerve to replace Angie by "Till the Next Goodbye" too, seems like it's the time or never with a 3rd concert in the same place.

Oh yes, good example. You know why this one works in my opinion? Respectable needs full dual rhythm guitar power right from the start and Mayer carries the performance here.

You may be right. Difficult to say whether they would ask Mick Taylor to help them out. But hopefully it will be played at least once anyway - it's such a great song!
It seems like every "winner" of the fan vote gets replaced by another tune that was not played yet. Maybe Monkey Man will return this way soon?

I agree 100%. The very idea of having to choose between gems such as Sway MM CYHMK Loving Cup or ST should make any fan salivate...

Respectable or Some Girls? Sounds too much like the 99 US tour...

One of the best shows of the tour (no I wasn't there). Respectable is phenomenal because Mayer's great playing FORCES Keith and Ronnie to step up. DAGGUMIT I LOVE WHEN KEITH WALKS TO THE FRONT AND SLAMS THOSE RIFFS DOWN!! One of the best moments of the band peeling back the years.

3 of the 6 on the list (Respectable ; If You Can't Rock Me ; and Imagination) have not yet been played in Tokyo after 27 shows in the city.

They should play AT LEAST one of those three for the Tokyo # 3 concert. I don't care which one of the 3 that it is,as long as I see an effort to minimize the amount of redundancy.

The other 3 should be saved for later in the tour.

I voted for Live With Me.

No voting via Facebook or Twitter apparently. This has always been good for the "real" rarities I think so IYCRM should become more and more probable

Respectable is lame live nowadays. I would vote for anything but Respectable on that list (I did vote for JMI).
