My wife and I just adopted a puppy coonhound and named her Angie, we decided to also rescue her brother and were trying to think of some stones related names. Our last hound dogs akc name was hothouse midnight rambler. Looking for something that fits a goofy hound dog.

Any suggestions? We are considering Ronnie

Yeah, he does look like a wise old thing as well I've gotta say.........great stuff..

My favorite people in the world were my cats called Mick and Keith (their mother was Little Queenie, a female cat being called a queen). They used to sleep with their arms around each others' shoulders. Mick succumbed to a neighborhood fox, but Keith lived to be 16 and the baddest cat on the block. Nobody messed with Keith.


I should also mention they were born while I was out seeing the Stones at Wembley!

It's quite fun to think about that. I reckon, Ronnie would be fine. Maybe you like also one of these? Jumpin' Jack was among my ideas, too, as well as all bandmembers' names. Somehow female names would be easier.

I'm thinking about to get a cat or a dog rescued from the streets. When I do this, I think I will call him Mr. Jimmy.

How about Ian for your pup, after Ian Stewart? Angie and Ian together sounds nice, I think. Congrats on getting a rescue dog, that's how we got our spoiled basset hound.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, we are leaning towards Ronnie, my wife also suggested Taylor. Happy was an interesting suggestion, that was the song they played at our wedding after they said we pronounce you husband and wife.

I will post some pictures soon, we pick him up tomorrow and he will be reunited with his big sister Angie.

I'll also post some pictures of our black and tan coonhound Johnny aka Hothouse Midnight Rambler who passed away Dec 30th.
