Since Dominique Tarle got every one confused regarding Micawber... Is there any truth in what Dominique says about this guitar? i.e. that it was a gift from Eric Clapton and that it once belonged to Muddy Waters?

Is Keith happy with the norwegian-made pick ups he got in December 2012, and does he still use them?

I wonder if the "converted to G-tuning" Black Tele Custom that Keith used on Jumpin' Jack Flash and Happy on the ABB tour is the same Black Tele Custom he used on the 1981-82 tour? And if so, what year (and if possible, what serial Nr) was the guitar built? Is it a 1974, 1975 or 1976?

A big Thank You Mathijs!!!

AP/Shizuo Kambayashi

I'm having a senior moment, perhaps, but is this a newly acquired Tele for Keith? It's not looking familiar to me, but perhaps it has made previous appearances.

I've never seen it before... but I love those early '60s(?) rosewood Teles with the binding.

Anybody have any idea what song this was from?

Ha, time to publish a revised edition of the Stones Gear book!

Cool guitar; wish I knew a little of the story behind it.

The binding indentifies it as Telecaster Custom but I have never seen one in black before. If I could see the headstock I could see if it isa pre or post CBS model. I'd like to know more about it myself...

Couldn't find good closeups, but these two small photos at least show another angle and the headstock.

RE the tubes in the boys' amps, how do you replace them?
With modern subs or are you on a constant search for vintage unused tubes (like the ACDC crew does iirc).

Complete live rig rundown of the guitarists.

Of the guitars Keith and Ronnie use, are there any problem guitars? Example, one of Malcolm's tuning pegs always comes loose. Anything like that?

How does the soundboard gets the tone/volume right when they change guitars all the time?

What strings do they use?

What gear is using Chuck right now? Did he use VST instruments, or pre-based keyboard sounds? And also, what Hammond did he use? B-3, c-3?

Thank you Mathijs!

My questions are mostly amp related. Not sure if they are pertinent.

I'm interested to learn if the white Ampegs are still around and what mods were performed on them (if any)

I'm curious how Woody biases his amps.

I'm interested to learn what mods (if any) Mick makes to his amps. I've noticed his electric guitar sounds are hotter than the other 3 players KR, Woody, Blondie).

Thank you in advance to Pierre! I;ve seen you play on some You Tube clips...the man has chops!!

Not being sarcastic but why do you need to forward questions when he can just log on and answer right on the forum?

I would like to know what kind of humbucker pickup being installed in Keiths Fender Esquire? Is it a Gibson PAF without the pickupcover?

Thanks!
