Not for me, thanks but I'll skip this one.

Now please get us a new Rolling Stones studio album with just the core band plus Mick Taylor.

Pete.

+ 1. Duets are Pavarotti stuff: we want 10 new rock'n'Blues numbers with only Mick Taylor as guest!

I enjoyed Jeff Beck both on the night and on the tube since. Also loved Tom Waits. Nothing much else springs to mind.

Let It Bleed with Bonnie Raitt would be a nice addition, I think.

They could do SOL with the new Mick Jagger, Harry Stiles. Imagine 15 million teenage girls queueing up to buy a brand new Rolling Stones album. Mick is to good a businessman to pass on such an opportunity...

If this release is genuine, I hope there is no Mary J Blige.

If they do a duets album, that will surely mean it's the end.

YES...if I find an overwhelming need to see a duet, I'll call up youtube for half and hour and get it out of my system.

Let's try one more album, for old times sake.

AND a possible studio album..

Id LOVE to buy a studio album,
I dont know if I will buy the duets thing or not.

btw- Didnt someone started a thread about this duets album a long time ago, I forget who... oh now I remember winking smiley

If duets means that we get all MT-contributions I will stand all the Kate Perry and Lady Gaga shit. But I fear that it will be only the Gaga-like performances. And that is definitely too much shit I can stand ...

A Rolling Stones "Duets" Album? Ron Wood Hints Potential New Project

Posted on 2/25/2014 9:24:00 AM by Gary Graff.

Could a duets album be the Rolling Stones next recording project? Guitarist Ron Wood has hinted at that in an interview with a radio station in Abu Dhabi, where the Stones kicked off their 14 On Fire Tour of Australasia last week.

Wood said that frontman Mick Jagger is considering the venture, noting that, "Sometimes we do duets with different rock artists all over the world, and I think that's in the back of his mind, to make an album with some of the guests we have."

In fact, during the Stones' Fifty And Counting Tour dates in 2012 and 2013, the Stones were joined by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, John Fogerty, Bonnie Raitt, Dave Grohl, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Christina Aguilera and others.

The Stones continue the 14 On Fire Tour with three shows in Tokyo on February 26 and March 4 and 6 and finish on April 5 in Auckland, New Zealand.

This would be horrific. Please NO!

Please no album but a DVD with "duets" 2012-2014. Why not? 15/20 euro. Will buy it.
There are a lot but this comes to mind:
Include: Six Days On The Road (with Taj Mahal)
Respectable (with John Mayer)
Under The Boardwalk (with Aaron Neville)
It's All Over Now (with John Fogarty)
Little Red Rooster (with Tom Waits)......these two need some overdubbing because there were a lot of mistakes........
I'm Goin Down (with Jeff Beck - please turn his guitar down. I was there and his first slash did my ears ringing. Awful!)
Champagne and Reefer (with Clapton)
Gimme Shelter (with Florence Welch, great performance!) or Lady GaGa
Tumbling Dice (with Bruce Springsteen)
Who Do You Love (with The Black Keys - a bit lame I thought, the 1994 version with Bo Diddley was the top!).
SWAY and CYHMKNOCKING and LOVE IN VAIN (with Mick Taylor)

And there are more. Bonus extra: Backstage scenes etc.

If you don't like such a release you are not a Rolling Stones Fan.

We can all hope and wish for the Stones to go an record a new studio album. However many things have to happen (and have yet to happen) for that to become a reality.

A duets album would be possible with very little effort directly from the band. The band could completely stop and we could still get this. Given the situation, I would welcome such and album. If you aren't interested, don't purchase it. But there are plenty of people, including non Stones fans that would be interested in such an offering.

What I definitely don't have any interest in is another live album from this tour that contains the same songs I've purchased/heard on each live album they produce after each tour. The Hyde Park show is enough for me this tour in that respect.

Hi Mick J.,

If you read this - A Duets CD would be absolutely a waste of time.

If you can't make a CD with new material, then don't.

How about a duet featuring Mick Jagger and Keith Richards? That would be a novelty.
