Is that from the sessions for the Goats Head Soup cover? I read someplace that the original idea was to portray the band as satyrs, which involved photographing them in tights so that the photos could be airbrushed more easily. Apparently Keith hated the photos and that put an end to it.
Holy ***, look at Anita - OF COURSE she wreaked havoc in a band. She was dangerously beautiful.
On a different note (w/0 quoting other photos) there are times when you can really see a type of person hidden within Ronnie Wood. Yu can see the gregarious, jovial and back slapping, hard drinking and butt-slapping, over weight small factory foreman in him. Sometimes his face will look a lot heavier than he is; sort of Don Was-ish, and I can see a person he could have easily become. Its the pic of him with Mac and Keith that made me think of this. But one of the 'worst' pics of Ron Wood is buried in a book somewhere; he is wearing a Fedora, and I think Keith and maybe Jo(?) are in it. It just always makes me think : what if he had turned left instead of right that one time back in the day?

It is incredible to me - is there any other band that can sit there in WHITE TIGHTS, but otherwise all scuffed up, and still look great?Quote
