More a mystery than mis-remembering
It was me who wrote, that I had seen Taylor on the screen during BTMMR. In fact I had also turned to my first row neighbour Markus and told him that Taylor is still "there". As I couldn't see more than 50% of the stage I thought he might be standing somewhere around Lisa and Bernard.
Now it turns out this was not the case. But one of the cameras must have caught him somewhere on the sides or behind the stage. Watch the video carefully at 00:23, where Mick Taylor appears for a split second on the screen between Charlie and Keith. On the screenshot you see his face above the cymbal in the middle of the picture.

I think I'm not spending any time on recovery. Rather than going back to the moment... in a way I feel I'm taking it with me and heading for the next chapter. Trabendo looked amazing from the recordings, I hope I get a chance to experience something like that.
My visa for Australia has just been granted today. As my reason for application was Stones concerts I'm very happy things are working out.

He may have been standing next to the guitar techs taking care of the guitar MT played on the previous song...as you may be aware, they are behind Charlie.

Did MT play the same guitar on both slipping away and midnight rambler?
Perhaps he was with the techs changing guitars or whatever. Then again he could have been playing, too. I mean Blonde did it off to the side and Keith has started tunes back by Charlie such as Gimme Shelter on the licks tour.
I was not there and could not see the guitars clearly on the videos. Anyone have a clue what that was about? I think it is MT in the image behind Charlie.

Good point, that must be it!
Oh and about "recovering", I guess everyone is different, but I have this incredible "notalgia" of the Trabendo and 2012 Rehearsals in Bondy, they were such extraordinary moments that generated an incredible "high" (the "kid at Christmas" feeling)...such a fleeting moment, so getting to shake hands with Mick and Charlie and hug Ronnie and Keith, well...keep it with you as long as possible and don't think about it too often as it takes the moment away quicker I've found ;-)
@Stoneage - Taylor in Abu Dhabi, the answer is in the videos thread : SA, MR, Satisfaction. One newspaper review also mentioned that he was not introduced properly, but there was just a quick comment when he left the stage, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a video of that moment, so was that comment by Keith after SA or by Mick after MR ? If SA gets played each time, maybe Mick can work something out like "and Keith Richards on guitars and vocals now with Mick Taylor", or something like that.

Guys, I know I am about one month late asking this, the travel thread has been closed so trying my luck here.
Have any of you sort out visa through a hotel booking? Can you recommend any either Dubai or Abu Dhabi? I need to transit UAE two more times on the way to Australia and back with couple of days stopovers.
I'm flying different airlines so they cannot sort out the visas, I know some hotels can arrange this. My first try was visa was via travel agency only this time I will actually be requiring a hotel.
Thanks for any advice and sorry for bothering on an old topic.

In two days I'm taking off for the great Stones Australia Adventure.
It's my first time ever traveling to Australia and first time traveling for several shows in a tour.
My plan for the tour is to capture the experience of the tour, discovering new territories and meetings people from all over the world in daily videos.
I've put together a short video about my experience in Abu Dhabi and will try to continue this on the road in the following 3 weeks.

14 On Fire started 5 months ago today!
