What a boring stage. One of these run-of-the-mill ones you often see at festivals. Nothing special at all and probably the worst stadium stage I've seen the Stones play on since they became a Vegas act. But for this rather short tour with few stadium gigs I knew they would keep it low budget here. Anything else would have been economical nonsense I guess.

Can you count the number of non-expats in attendance on one hand?

im not in abu dabi .... but what a cheaplooking stage even the 1981-1982 tour had more cotton on the frontside ... maybe the balloons are back too ...

I'm sick of the vegas act term also.

I'm not in Abu Dhabi.... just at home in the Netherlands,
but what an exciting evening!!

It is just a simplified version of the stage from last year. They did the same during the ABB tour in South America (and Asia ?). Probably to save up on transportation costs.

I second the hatred of the "vegas act" derogatory, but hey, Macca puts on a good show. Not in the same league as the Stones, but come on now.
